Elizabeth, I have commented on your videos before but I want you to know how much I have enjoyed this one. Your instruction is so precise and slow enough for me to follow. Thank you so much for your instructions.
The video is so on point! But since wafer paper is expensive, can i practice these flowers on plain printer paper before starting with the wafer paper ?
Hi Mili, i'm really glad you like the video, yes you can totally use paper to practise on first, and i know the wafer paper can be slightly more pricey but i do manage to get quite a lot of flowers out of one pack of wafer paper, if i'm careful where i cut my circles. good luck x
Thanks for this tutorial. My question is it possible to attach directly to the cake the flower or we always need a little gum paste between the cake and the flower?
@@elizabethharris7828 what if I pierce a bending wire through it does that work or it may tear the flower? Also in the wafer paper the rough side should be inside or outside ?
@@mayankakhetarpal7623 hi sorry for the slow reply, the wafer paper is normally smooth side out/showing but it’s really personal preference. You can pop a wire through the middle to attach it if you wanted to.
Hi im glad you enjoyed the video, you can make these flowers a few weeks in advance, no problem just make sure you keep them in a dust free zone or with some tissue covering them to prevent dust. xx
