I'm curious why you don't use a fondant or gumpaste ball attached to a floral wire instead of using a styrofoam ball? You can't eat the flower since it has styrofoam, but you could pull it off the wire if it was a fondant ball instead.
I don't think anyone would want to eat the flowers normally. You can't make good flowers and get the petals thin enough with edible fondant icing. You can make them with it but the petals wouldn't roll out thin enough with out drying out at the edges do you'd have to make them quite thick which would look unrealistic. Flower paste drys harder and is better for handling and you can get it thinner. Using the styro makes it less heavy than using a bud made of icing or paste. I think they look fab well done lisa.
Even if you used fondant, it would dry and be hard as a rock, these really aren’t meant to be eaten
Do you buy colored wafer paper, or you colour them?

lizeth gomez si usas la lógica si, la crema Es muy húmeda. Si ves el video cuando le pone poquita agua le sirve como pegamento. Casi desbarata el papel. Este papel es de lo que están hechas las ostias se desbaratan en la boca
