A long time ago I was asked to make quick and fluffy hydrangeas, that could be made in advance within a few minutes and become an outstanding filler flower.
And... After months of experimenting, I found a way to make those fluffy full hydrangea heads for cake decorating in no time without wiring every petal (I use one piece of wire for the stem and that's it).

When you recommended the hydrangea craft punch, I purchased it along with the twig shape. These punches are so sturdy and heavy duty that they probably will last forever! I have made tons of realistic looking centers out of white gum paste for hydrangeas and roses. I store them in air tight containers which also you have recommended ❤ I can’t wait to start putting these together… but I might have to wait until after the holidays. I must tell you I used your holly template to make a wreath style centerpiece out of gum paste last year. I had them stored them in an airtight container with the silica gel packets on a bed of styrofoam. I made pinecone’s and berries with wafer paper following your tutorials! I will take a picture and tag you! They came out absolutely lovely 😊 Thank you Anna for all your wonderful and easy to follow tutorials🙏🏻 They have given me such amazing inspiration!

I'm just getting into wafer paper for cake decorating! You have been so helpful to learn how to work with wafer paper. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
I love all of the flowers, but hate to think of the time it'll take to cut out all the petals. While looking around on Amazon for flower punches, I came across die cutters! Cutting multiple petals at the same time! No scissors. Something you may want to look into. :)
