    Mr J you are the best migrant innovator for Australia and appear to attract and reach the people who are prepared to come and live here as permanent residents Diversity has brought remarkable changes to this country but it is nice to see the British look reappearing as in former days and your videos seem to hit the target well Keep the good work going

    Great video! Its fascinating to hear other people's stories about how they moved over to Australia and what their process was. Its very different moving over on work visas compared to moving over on a partner visa, which has been my experience. (As a side note, Australian Prospective Marriage Visas are the most expensive partner visas in the world and the most time consuming.)

      @Teagirl009 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes it is interesting, I've been watching this series of interviews and there's always similarities but also a lot of differences.
      Maybe you could chat to Ross some time too 🙂.
      The visa rules are ever changing it seems. Even right now they have some major changes in the works to help with work shortages and easier PR.
      Yeah the partner visas seem the most expensive and time consuming from the couple of people I know who've done it versus others who had different visas.
      Got my fingers crossed for you that your next double grant comes through!. 🤞

    Huntsman are harmless. You could easily catch them and handle them if you your game. I've woken one morning jumped out of bed and when I pulled the quilt back discovered I was lying on top of a hunstman. It was dead too. So I must of killed it in my sleep laying on it. 😜

    When I was going to high school in the Pilbara, north west Australia, a family moved into town from Scotland. They left Scotland mid winter and arrived in W.A. to average 38 degree desert heat. The girl in my class kept fainting all the time and her face was permanently red, poor girl. Probably not the best time to move 🙂

      @fugawiaus - you’re dead wrong - the current government has changed the department policies and procedures, and allocated additional resources, so that the department could put on massive numbers of additional staff, streamlined processes and reduced the backlog in visa processing bay more than half.

    Great video! Gave us some clarity and ideas! We definitely will be looking into applying for 190. My husband has an employer interested to sponsor the visa, but I think it is worth to try the 190 along the other application. Can you come over on 491 to aus and wait for 190 to be granted in the meantime. I am guessing the processing times are much different! Thanks

    Hint Re spiders in house:
    1. If within arm’s reach use spider catcher (Perspex pyramid on long stick, with sliding lid- from Bunnings?)
    2. If beyond arm’s reach, use a rubber band to attach a nylon sockette to end of vacuum cleaner. Suck spider into vac. Turn off and check if spider is in sockette (shine torch or wet the sockette to see spider outline). Then carefully remove sock with rubber band still attached.
    Tricky part :
    Do you whack it in sockette & put it in bin? Or
    Do you carefully remove rubber band and leave sockette in corner of garden to let spider try to free it self? Up to you.
