Nice to hear Budhism. Also the chirping of birds and the music of a waterfall is better than any humen music. Thanks.❤❤

We have all come into this world to experience life in all its vagaries and learn from life's experiences and evolve ; nothing is given to us on a platter ; happiness and suffering are two faces of the same coin, one cannot be had without the other ; but then we are not ready to face life for what it is, we want crutches, we want miracles to happen, we want a quick fix !
Be man enough and walk by yourself, rising and falling, suffering and enjoying, only then can one evolve and become free !

Nice video! Thanks a lot for putting these together. As the video shows, the "acknowledgement of suffering" is the first step towards the end of suffering. This acknowledgement is super important. Many of us including myself tend to act as a happy person while hiding pain in our hearts, leaving our true feelings unacknowledged. To me, that's why Rissho Kosei-kai's hoza/meditative conversation is equally super important. Hoza offers a place for us to tell our stories and allow our feelings to be acknowledged in a group setting, healing the wounds in our hearts. RK Buddhism is this way creating and promoting a form of new culture that responds to the suffering of the world today. Together we're becoming a bodhisattva regarder of the cries of the world. Looking forward to more of your videos! I'll use them in my class.

Thank you for your comment and using the videos for your class. I hope its helpful! And I agree, RK Hoza practice (Dharma Circle) is a great way to deep listen to others, learn about yourself, and see how our everyday experiences can be transformed into Buddhist practices.

We should define "suffering". We don't suffer just at one point, or suffer sometimes and not other times, rather we live in a state of suffering/dissatisfaction caused by our attachment to our hopes, dreams, goals, etc. Historical Christian theology would agree, btw, except that they would say you must detach from the world, and attach to one who is greater than yourself, outside of yourself not within, Jesus the Anointed One.
