I love how polished and flushed out this game is despite the reason for existing hinging on a meme. I wouldn’t mind if I got less serious as it went on and ended up just being a joke. This game already excels most of them fan games.
Honestly I’d think it’d be interesting if pacifist routes were just jokes but the genocide routes were really serious, sort of how Deltarune’s normal/weird route is with there being a lot more humor in the first for obvious reasons

Kris looks miserable because you're forcing them to kill, as well as forcing Susie to do the same, then when you try to make them proudly announce how the dark deed had been done, Kris decides not to take anymore shit from you, hence what happens at 25:45
and he most likely killed the player so we wont fight and kill toriel his other worldly mom. because she might of tried to kill us out of anger

Noticed a small detail here, after making Susie kill Napstablook and checking stats she is no longer smiling.
And Kris's expression shifts more than just a shadowed expression with no mouth. They are lowering their head.

This fangame might be the best. Atleast to me.
Kris has a set persona, while Frisk has a 2-way interpretation. Kris will determine how the game will play out, how they will talk (in a softer or louder tone, depending on choice), and how their expression will be. Frisk can go Pacifist or Genocide according to the players action, and their personality will be set on which path the player chose first; kind, graceful, and merciful, or cruel, soulless, and merciless.
I feel like manipulating Noelle will be the breaking point for Kris

The scene that really sold it for me was Kris getting fed up with the player and deciding they couldn't deal with it anymore. (25:45) It truly captures the essence of Snowgrave route.

21:56 in deltarune you also attack the next enemy if your hit killed the first one, pretty cool detail to add to this game as well.
same thing with sparing in deltarune you can spare the same enemy twice and it will spare both.

This is a great crossover fangame. The writing’s solid and keeps in character, the combined battle system is smart and innovative, and the original music is - as always - a banger! Hope to see this surpass the demo state in the coming months and not stop development.
Clever reference there with the ‘because [I] can, [I] have to’ line. Also, we’re not into the ‘devour’ act ‘round these parts (no matter how much you want that [sweet, sweet] Kris-Cross-Carrotsauce!).
I said recently in the first video for this but will say again while this is fresh that this is genuinely well-made and hope it doesn't fall into dev limbo/hell like a couple other ambitious-seeming and also really good AU fangame demos Maergx played on this channel never to be heard from again (both ended at around Toriel's home - the Underfell one with the detailed ruins, cursed [in a good way] looking Toriel and a friendly Flowey following you around with a lot of dialogue and loredumps, and there was some weird, interesting tree at some point...)
(...the other being the Horrortale mod with the detailed and adorable sprite of the MC (forgot her name), begins with the one-eyed, also friendly Flowey being incinerated by Toriel, and her killing everything in her path while guiding you as your terrified character changes expression, but mostly remains fearful of everything)
I thinks these fangames are still in development, but they just take time, it's not so easy to do a whole game. Unless they got cancelled so then my bad.

Speaking of the Earthbound text box, don't know if this was mentioned but the way the characters pop their heads up over their stats during battle when it's their respective turns looks exactly like how Mother 3 battles look, which I'm sure is also intentional.
I love how Merg's face aligns perfectly with Kris' face on the end screen XD
Unless they want to paint Kris as a bit of a puppet master, I can't see Chapter 2 Susie killing just cos Kris told her to. It would be really cool if Susie rebelled against them, and they end up in a fight against Susie (with some cool version of VS. Susie in the battle, maybe even a similar gimmick to that fight where Susie hesitates to kill Kris). Feel the true pain of the No Mercy route!
I always thought at the end the final boss fight will be with Kris. or like a true pacifist where the characters still come to the players aid and convince Kris to not kill you.

If you spare flowey at the end of a genocide route of this game, does it end the same way, or does Susie kill him instead? I'd like to know

You get different dialogue from flowey if you start trying to spare him but otherwise it’s the same as pacifist and neutral and aborts genocide.

The earthbound text box really sticks out to me. My prediction is that Kris, Susie and Noelle will be travelling through different games as the first one is Undertale the second one will most likely be Earthbound due to the textbox. Only a prediction though. :)

That sign font and dialouge box from that grey door opening is the exact like EXACT thing as in Earthbound and undertale was origanly supposed to be a fangame of earthbound where everything would feature under the place where u play in Earthbound, so maybe the dark world or what the hell it is could be Earthbound

I thought it would have been an amazing detail if Noelle freaked out when you found her. Think about it, if you're committing genocide in this game you PROBABLY did Snowgrave, and she DOES ask if she's dreaming again which shows this game happens after Cuberworld canonically. Just a thought.
