- How to price roof cleaning?
First you need to know your costs,
1. Proper liability Insurance for roof cleaning
2. Cost of supplies and soaps
3. Vehicle and roof cleaning equipment
4. Marketing, how did you get this customer
5. If you have employees. Pay, taxes,workers comp
6. Taxes
Basically all the joys of owning a business .
There is also the factors of the house.
How big is the house that needs the roof clean.
1 story or 3 stories
Is there a lot of plant life
Is the a pond around.
So these are just some of the many factors that can cause a roof cleaning cost be higher or lower. We do all our bidding from google earth sometimes we dont get all that information.
So we set our price by size of house
0-1000 Sqare foot house starts at $550
1500-2000 is $625 and so on.
Remember when doing roof cleaning there are a lot of risk doing it. You are using ladders and stronger chemicals.

I’ve had a really good year as far as customers go but I’m consistently told that I’m under charging. I’m trying to make a name for myself but I find the most challenging thing is the amount to charge them. I love the instant gratification of the job. I love watching your reaction when I see the results. But I consistently fail and cheat myself when it comes to pricing. Thank you for the great videos! Does your company rinse the roofs after treating? To rinse or not to rinse .. that is the question. Thank you.
I'm curious as well, i know most people dont rinse, because they say after a good rain it will wash it away and it will work better... But i know you're supposed rinse after for to reasons, 1st because it obviously looks better when you're done and you get that "WoW Effect" when the customers see it, and 2nd because the roofing administration says after a roof wash that the product has to be rinsed for the homeowner to be covered by their insurance... Personally i think it should be rinsed for other reasons as well, but for the main reason because when i leave and the customers see my work, i really what them to be WOW, lol you know what i mean?
Almost nobody talks about how the cedar roofs are washed. Any good process and mix?
We always just used a roof mix on it
Then we would take a brush on it and brush all the moss off of it. Next would would put cedar renew on it

So I have a question. I don't know how to price jobs. I had a lady the other day ask me if I would house wash her home for $200 and I passed on it because I felt like she was trying to steal me. Have you tried sodium percarbonate 99 encapsulated? Does not damage bushes, flowers, etc. My concern is how effective it is. There is a guy on TH-cam that promotes it. I'm just not sure how effective it is.
I stick with what i know works and is used by ARMA

It is a very generic business. You used to get $400 to clean a roof in Florida, but no longer.
we still get any where's from $500-1000 per roof
I.m in Florida. Min $400 roof clean ..30 to 35 cents a SF. NO PROBLEM, especially tile roofs..
High peaks or if I have to get on roof,because of high peaks and can not get over pool cage. 35cents SF. Otherwise 30 cents.
90 % success rate of add on is clean the gutters for additional $100.
Sidewalks we usually pressure wash using cannister.
Average wash in my area $750 to $850. ..Work time 5 to 6 hours. Just roof & gutters.
Driveway and walkways $100 to $150. Pool cages and pool decks..inside and outside $200 soft wash

i would say 20-30 gallons of 50/50 mix

we do not remove the moss. We let nature take care of the moss. We do offer gutter cleaning put its not part of the packages.
