Been trying to “make it” as an artist since 2003 😅 Hoping your journey doesn’t take as long! I related a lot to your energy struggles. I just chalked it up to my personality, basically and figured I’d just be this way forever. I got tested for everything- hashimoto’s, cortisol levels, hormones- all infuriatingly “within range”. I suspected I have adhd, was able to seek out a dx earlier this year and FINALLY got meds a couple months ago and the difference it’s made in my chronic lethargy and low energy has been life changing. I knew there would be benefits from a dx and meds, but i never anticipated that being able to stay awake for 12 hours in a row would be one of them. I get home from my part time jobs and i can *still have energy* to work on my art business, even late into the night after being awake since 6:30am! I don’t know if you relate to adhd symptoms (esp inattentive), but if you do, i would recommend looking into it and seeing if you can get treatment. It might make a huge difference!

I truly relate with you. I recently moved to a new country and i used to run my own fun small business back home. I left my studies, business, my pets, and my friends back home to be with my husband. Adjusting to my new life here has been rough. I have bipolar type 2 and depression. On top of that, I don’t have my family supporting me because we are kind of estranged in a way. I’m trying to find something that I love doing again but it’s been so hard. I’m 29 next month. My husband has been supportive but he has his own life that he’s working on hence us moving abroad. I don’t respond to changes very well so I have been deferring a lot from my university because I really can’t get myself to focus no matter how hard I try. I really miss my life back home where I am my own boss and earning good money through my small business alone. Sorry for venting here 😂
