Hi sir..I have one doubt on your example Levi's..
The Loyalty value is Rs 200...when the customer come again and redeem this point...they should get the value of Rs 200
But here we made liability of only Rs: 182
Let's us say Customer came and purchase from Levi's for Rs 1000 ...he had already Rs 200 loyalty point...so customer will pay only 800..
How to settle this?
Isnt it better to recognize revenue as Rs 1800 and Rs 200 will be liability of Loyalty programme?

Good point, however the standard is prepared based on a single rule that will be broadly applicable on all transactions. For case to case individually sales transactions there can be minor differences as one size doesn't fits all. Out of 200 the 18 Rs was already recognized at the time of initial revenue. I may be wrong but this is how I have understood the concept.
