Gotta love feeling like I am the prince of fucking arabia while watching a man explain a mod I have played for over 400 hours just to hear someone with a similar opinion as me simply for gratification.
This is a good, informative video. Nice job. That said, for next time, I do recommend that you either decrease the volume of background music or increase the volume of your voice. The background music was *too loud* and started to drowned-out your voice, making it a bit difficult to understand. I had to turn on closed captions to make sure I understood it all. (It also did not help this volume issue with how your voice seems naturally smooth and relaxing. It's a good voice, but it makes it easier to be drowned-out by music.)
So sorry for that, did inform the others I would make a discord for quality assurance, also thank you for a proper criticism and compliments, and hopefully I would like you to be on my discord, after I make a setver, I dont really delve on Discord that much, have a great new year!
Hello, sicklyshogun, I play with combat extended but I cant seem to get the hang of building good defensive positions and fortifications. Can you make a video about it?
been playing CE for a while and here are a few tips for good defensive positions 1. embrasures are good, use em. surround your base with walls, and slap down some bunkers using embrasures. 2. don't give your enemies any cover. Trees, rock chunks, and ancient ruins will allow your enemies to take cover. Clear them, especially the ones close to your defensive positions 3. stationary machineguns are REALLY good, especially high-caliber machinegun emplacements. Build a few of them, it'll clear tribals, pirates, and mechanoids like nothing else. 4. darkness makes it harder for enemies to shoot you, but doesn't make it any harder for you to shoot them. Build roofs around your defensive emplacements, as anything under a roof automatically has 0% light. 5. sandbags and barricades can be good early game, but i'd recommend surrounding your base with walls when you get the time/resources to.
Oh yeah before you put your prometheum/fsx indoors/tight spaces, keep in mind that fire generates smoke, you may want to utilize that against enemies since CE smoke can still spread on open spaces, great way to offer burnt sacrifices to the flames
There's this idea of water jacket seal of tank ammo. Designate storage area behind those little space, and you can store Mortar ammo without fear of getting cooked off.
Never thought about the acronym FSX but I have got an idea: If pronounced as a single word it resembles the word physics. In many games, movies and shows, the creators get flak for their depiction of a certain named explosive/weapon etc not being up to realistic standards. For example: Breaking bad's depiction of fulminated mercury is often seen as a flaw, as one could reliably call it unrealistic and breaking immersion. Sometimes it seems better to distance oneself from a specific name: By naming their highly flammable compound after the god of fire instead of calling it napalm, the CE creator(s?) don't set unrealistic expectations. Same goes for the compound with a similar name to the explosive RDX. FSX has a cool sounding acronym, gives an impression of what it does, but by just calling it "physics", there is no room for calling it unrealistic, as especially in a mod designed for realism, this would lead to aforementioned criticism
The hombre riding the horse coolest pawn I have ever seen.
Happy new year and great video!
I don't know what to say, but I do appreciate it, and wish you well this year. May luck and fortune be with you!
Can’t hear a word you’re saying over the AoE3 soundtrack but when it’s such a banger who cares
Even when the volume is a bit up?I thought I mixed the sound well, I am sorry for that.

Another example would be Rimworlds substancing naming nomenclature like go-juice, wake up, smokeleaf etc.
FSX fits in perfectly
You can store the mortar sheels in a double-walled room close to the mortar. Even if the ammo explodes there is (almost) no risk for ur pawns.
great video
What's the song in the beginning?
Mexico OST Age of Empires 3 DE
