Have come to the conclusion that she'll actually do or say anything for attention and money, tailored to whichever audience she's playing to, and then contradicts herself when it suits her. Not sure if she knows she's being hypocritical, but it amounts to the same thing: a damaged person desperate for attention. It's quite sad really.
If you took all of the money in the world and distributed it equally to every person, within 3 years, the same people who had the money before would have it again, and the same poor people would be poor again. Money is a mindset thing. For some, a small amount will always be more than enough and for others, a large sum will always be spent before ir is earned and they will always be complaining abiut having no money.
100%. Look at the difference between some lottery winners and self-made millionaires. A lot of the lottery winners blow their money and go back to the old lifestyle. A self-made millionaire could go broke and then get it all back again in two years. It's all down to mindset and attitude.
This is largely true, but it's not a level playing field and for many, no matter how frugal they are, today's living costs are so disproportionate to income that without family support (not necessarily financial) it's incredibly difficult to get ahead on the treadmill. And that's if you have "endeavour". Many have only known poverty in their upbringing (from bad parenting, poor money management etc) and don't know how to get out of the trap. If you're in a bog, it's hard to get out of it without external help of some sort. It becomes a self repeating cycle, otherwise.
Omg Katie I've been wondering where you were! This interview was hilarious. I've always admired your unabashed views. May I say we're so much alike! Not everyone appreciates our honest & vociferous take. NEVER apologize! Love ya 💞
I like Katie and generally agree with almost everything she says...But to make such a sweeping statement that poor people are lazy is really quite shitty...
Generally, if you seriously consider it, it's true. Of course there are exceptions. And we know she is saying this regarding people in western countries who provide relatively good education for all. Education is th spring point.
I actually agree with her , I came from a 1 parent family after my dad passed away when I was 11 years old , my mum was a nurse so had to bring up 3 kids on her own . Don’t get me wrong we never went hungry but there wasn’t any spare money for anything, I went out got 2 paper rounds so I could have money to buy the small things in life . I knew from a young age that hard work would reward you financially ,so I could of just sat back waiting for things to happen or get out there and chase it , people make their own decisions either sit on your arse or go out to work . I went on to owning my own company employing over 50 people , I made the choice to chase my dreams so I didn’t remain poor .
@laurencefahey2085 I think what you have done with your life is fantastic...I too have worked extremely hard...I got myself an apprenticeship before even leaving school...then worked at a theme park to fill in the time before starting my apprenticeship...on completion of my apprenticeship I decided to go in a different direction because my experience as an apprentice was ruined by the arsehole I had to work with...I went from one manual job to another and had a great time because I love hard physical work...however, there was always something missing...and that was fair pay for a hard day's work...by the time I was 31 I was at the hospital having my back M.R.I.'d...at that point I was a lone father to a 3yr old boy who is now 25 and working...as for me, I continued to work with compressed disks and the nerves that they trapped for another 13 years...at that point I was tested for autism because I had always had problems with social interactions and got a fairly high score...the reason I mention the autism is because as a teenager I wanted to fit in somewhere and be like others...I t led to a life long battle with drugs...by the time I was 25 I was injecting heroin and smoking crack...I didn't get clean until my autism diagnosis...It made me realise that no matter what I do I'll never be like most people...I was however, a functioning addict and was able to work and bring up my son on my own...I'm now 53...I still have compressed disks in my lumbar spine and now I also have stenosis in my cervical spine...plus many other physical ailments I shan't bore you with...I've tried to go back to school to re-skill but I have been on certain medications for so long now that my memory is too far gone to take in information in order to revise for exams...I am poor, and I have also worked very hard...I think we all know now that it's all about working smarter, not harder...much about this has come to light in recent years...If only I had been given that advice before I saddled myself with that shitty apprenticeship...
I totally agree with Katie on the subject of “full-time money “ I get absolutely frustrated and disheartened when women use this term. It insinuates that mums who choose or have to go out to work and earn money for their family or somehow not good enough in terms of parenthood. Now I don’t know if this is their intention but it really grates me. I am married and my husband works full-time. We have a 10-year-old daughter and I also go to work part time so I have the best of both worlds. I can go to work, and also have the benefits of being able to go to sports days, meetings at school, and so on. Mums that work are also full time mummies. Being a mother doesn’t have a 9-to-5 label. Working doesn’t mean that you are less of a mother. My choice was to work part time so that I can be at the school when I need to be or if my daughter needs me. You don’t stop doing those things just because you work!. I have to work because both wages are needed and myself personally like the fact that I do this. My husband works full-time and equally if we are needed at the school or if it’s a special occasion, then we will be there for our daughter simple as that. She will always come above my job, but please don’t think that the minute we go out the door in the morning to go to work that we suddenly become not a mummy anymore. We are all full time mummies, not just the ones don’t work. I am with you, Katie 100%. It is not a career. Yes it’s challenging, it’s heartbreaking at times, it’s stressful, it’s joyful, but it is not a career.

Love your approach Katie - inspired. ❤ And 2 things in life to mention, you clearly understand - be kind and try to make things better. ❤❤❤❤
I agree with a lot of what Katie says except you're poor because you're lazy? Firstly we're not born equal. People born into wealth generally have doors opened for them that would be slammed in the face of others, even if higher intelligence. That's the other point. We don't all have the same intellect. Personally, my son was born mentally disabled. He can't read or write. He's now 36 and I have to wash, shave, clean his teeth for him. My (ex) wife left us when he was 3. My immediate family dead. So no help there. Am I poor? Relatively, though I did manage to juggle work and pay my home off 20 years ago. Though am now not working partly through my own health and the aforementioned drying up of help for my son. So Katie's way off the mark there.
Spot on. Sweeping generalisations just make genuine 'tryers' feel really bad. Life is a lottery; unpredictable and no matter how hard some people try, the odds are stacked against them through no fault of their own. Hats off to you for quietly and stoicly doing the right thing for over 30 years, no doubt at great personal cost. That's true strength. Katie should really try to walk a mile in some people's shoes before opening her opinionated mouth to cast aspersions on those who don't fit her world view. It's not 'woke' to be compassionate or empathetic.
Referring to migrants as cockroaches or suggesting a final solution for Muslims is what alot of people have a problem with. You're clearly a bitter person hence why you like her.
Love Katie, shes had to do the hard stuff in life and has succeeded so well, maybe her views seem harsh but that's the reality of life unfortunately, to do the hard things makes you hard, I've never given in easily to any task, ever, so I can understand her mindset completely.
Funny how so many people judge other peoples lives through their own perspectives. In case you can't see it. We're all different. One size. Or one philosophy does not fit all people. For some people, maried life actually works. Maybe, some are destined to go it alone but don't put labels on the rest of us. Thanks
Being poor isnt because of capitalism. Its cronyism and how your wealth is stolen via your money. This is via governments and central banks spending beyond their means promising free things to get into power but then at the same time stealing it via inflation. Inflation is caused by banks and government. It has nothing to do with russia and all that crap that they try an Bs you with
@@insatiablyme and my partner are both self employed and earning a pretty decent wage. We have kids (and young adults still at home) and get no help so are now struggling due to inflation. I'm glad I stopped following this woman a while ago, who - I believe - is a paid shill anyway. She should try to live in a country where the govt takes 65% from your net revenue as a result you working hard all year long. What a delusional muppet. And arrogant.
£10.42 an hour for those over 23 years of age. That's 36.5 hours per week (if not working part-time while claiming tax credits) and £20k per annum. If you can't live off that, you're squandering too much mo eh on eating out, holidaying, high interest credit cards, your gratuitously new or fuel guzzling car and designer clothes. £20k is more than enough for the essentials and a bit more.
@@derekathomson Derek, you're just showing how unaware you are. 20k: it's not a net figure, there's tax and NI to be deducted. So that's more like £17k pa. Less than £1500 a month. Then, even just a room in a shared house is a minimum of £600, often with bills on top. Transport costs to work, if you live in an urban area and have decent public transport. A car, even an old one, is a necessity if you live/work in rural areas. Food, clothes and other necessities...it's an existence.
There are thousands just like Katie, we share her thoughts, Katie speaks the truth, which a lot of the population cannot handle because they are weak, it’s not their fault, it’s just they have been conditioned. Do you think a certain way?
I follow Katie on her channel , I work my ass of on minimum wage and still poor du to rising costs , im certainly not lazy but saying that I know lazy people who don’t work and are very good at working the benefits system doing better than me it would seem , maybe the reason I’m poor is because I’m funding the lazy none working type to pay them through taxation , well I know that to be true ,,
She's saying a lot of people abuse the system and she's correct. I know a girl she's gotva full time Job. Her mum is called disabled because she walks with a stick after bone cancer her daughter is said to be her carer but She's not. Her mother lives alone a d manages but she gets in shows free because she said she's a carer that's fraud she doesn't look after her mum in anyway. Her mum does her shopping on line
I feel like she's unaware of how mentally strong she is. Not everyone is like that. This lack of awareness allows her to judge the poor and the over weight without thinking that sometimes people don't succeed in what she finds easy to solve because the mental is something that is much harder to withstand than the physical
I like Katie but she judges everyone by her standards and experiences. I’m sure she had family to help out when her kids were little, if not childcare is so expensive unless you have a well paid job which not everyone can get, it depends on a person’s intellect. She’s more fortunate than she realises.
Because evolution exists. Certain markers of health are reproductive gold. And reproduction is the meaning of life if you've spent any time watching nature.
It's very black and white with Katie, but her honesty and stance on things is refreshing, she strips away everything and gets to the core and the root of issues, we are fighting our government here atm to stop a freedom of speech law being put in place to stop people having an opinion online and essentially stopping people speak as they wish, they are dressing it up as "hate speech law", be glad you have your freedom to have an opinion, it's okay to disagree with Katie, but being offended by her is a choice, it really is. I can't see Katie respecting people she thinks are beneath her, carers of special needs kids, stay at home mothers, fat people, people in situations they can't avoid, but also l dont think she would have the patience to do some of the things women are dealing with everyday tbh, l like her, but her tolerance seems to be very low for certain types and their situations. I still like you Katie, there's no sh#t with you and I'm not offended.
... Katie's tolerance is extremely low, you're right there & she's marmite... we are living in a democracy & freedom of speech must continue to reign. Whether anyone agrees with her or not is entirely their choice. 💯 😊👍🏽

Not sure if she knows she's being hypocritical, but it amounts to the same thing: a damaged person desperate for attention.
It's quite sad really.
I love this interview, lots of wisdom and laughs. Thank you Rob and Katie!

Sometimes other people, like her, feed off the poor.
..Let’s be frank, “THE APPRENTICE” then , fill your boots....
Nearly didn't watch this Rob as I thought I had seen it before until I saw the date you posted. How can anyone not like Katie , probably those that don't take the time to listen to her , as she is both brave and interesting to listen to. Katie and a few others have proven that because they have been banned by MSM that we really do not live in a democracy so well done Ron on featuring her three times and don't forget we have at least another seven to go.
Great interview, just love Katie ❤
I totally agree with her, except there are poor who are poor through no fault of their own. The poor who are poor because they are looking after sick family instead of pursuing their dreams. They are not lazy they are just stuffed before they even start
Katie Hopkins is a LEGEND
Love Katie. Anybody who tells the brutal truth has me on their side everytime !
Love her so much, Katie you are amazing ❤
What a great interview Rob just subscribed to you, Katie is amazing so honest, love her to bits and quite like you as well. love your interviewing technique with Katie.
Her honesty is refreshing, too many people are afraid of being singled out for stating what most people are thinking . More power to her .
I think some people are lacking a little compassion 💙 x
True that. If we all earned loads who would do the minimum wage jobs. People forget about those at the bottom that prop up those at the top.
Indeed..

If you leave school after 9 years of education and cannot read or write that’s your problem, don’t expect a well paid job!
How about being in a school system surrounded by absolute thugs who destroy you every day and get away with it!
Some have no FKIN clue what goes on!
You're wrong. Our education system is geared to teach to the most able, and all of the other kids have to tag along and pick up what they can. There's a huge number of adults who have a reading age of below 9 years.
Crap teaching.
I think lots of people wait for a lucky break and complain when it doesn’t come. I think we can create our luck by working hard, taking chances, creating opportunities and being positive. This approach worked for me and i don’t see why others can’t do the same.
Katie says it as it is. Power to her!
She cops a lot of flack for being someone with COMMON SENSE and doesn't pander to BS whiny shitsters
Referring to migrants as cockroaches or suggesting a final solution for Muslims is what alot of people have a problem with. You're clearly a bitter person hence why you like her.
Plus the amount of ex veterans I have known who decided living on the street was safer than living among general society how mad is that
Love Katie, shes had to do the hard stuff in life and has succeeded so well, maybe her views seem harsh but that's the reality of life unfortunately, to do the hard things makes you hard, I've never given in easily to any task, ever, so I can understand her mindset completely.
Funny how so many people judge other peoples lives through their own perspectives. In case you can't see it. We're all different. One size. Or one philosophy does not fit all people. For some people, maried life actually works. Maybe, some are destined to go it alone but don't put labels on the rest of us. Thanks
Because people don't see the World as it Is
But rather As They Are.
There are exceptions to everything

Crazy. Poor is a direct result of excess capitalism. Tell that to those with a full job and are starving
if you have a full job and can't afford food, your financial priorities must be a complete mess
I don't see too many UK people with a full time job and starving. Minimum wage is more than enough to cover necessities.

Only just discovered Katie after finally wrestling my way out from under a rock!
Wow! What a beautiful , intelligent and funny woman ! I really can relate to her and ( most ) her opinions. Same age probably helps.
She can be so rude.. how dare she say poor people are lazy.. try getting minimum wage and living in this day and age.
I'm glad I stopped following this woman a while ago, who - I believe - is a paid shill anyway. She should try to live in a country where the govt takes 65% from your net revenue as a result you working hard all year long. What a delusional muppet. And arrogant.
@jackiebrown2164 you are correct, she's fake, rude and has no compassion.

I follow Katie on her channel , I work my ass of on minimum wage and still poor du to rising costs , im certainly not lazy but saying that I know lazy people who don’t work and are very good at working the benefits system doing better than me it would seem , maybe the reason I’m poor is because I’m funding the lazy none working type to pay them through taxation , well I know that to be true ,,
What’s you’re point ?
Am I paying for you also if so get a fuckin job
@gussstavo get a job asshole
Does Katie have her own podcast? I admire her honestly and lack of interest for needing so many "likes"
I feel like she's unaware of how mentally strong she is. Not everyone is like that. This lack of awareness allows her to judge the poor and the over weight without thinking that sometimes people don't succeed in what she finds easy to solve because the mental is something that is much harder to withstand than the physical
I find her attractive 😂😂 the more she talks the more I agree 😂😂😂
Love her so much xx
I like Katie but she judges everyone by her standards and experiences. I’m sure she had family to help out when her kids were little, if not childcare is so expensive unless you have a well paid job which not everyone can get, it depends on a person’s intellect. She’s more fortunate than she realises.
shes had a major brain operation and was once bankrupt. She's blessed with mental toughness more than anything else.
Love her to bits
Apparently my brutal honesty is my biggest flaw😅😅
She’s probably just privileged and disconnected from reality. People like that will say the weirdest shit.
She's bankrupt, Jack Monroe took her to the cleaners, Monroe hit her so hard even her husband felt it(Ouch)

Fat people are fat because they don’t do anything!
Because fat people cost the NHS more, then that cost is passed down to the public in the way of taxes.
Because evolution exists. Certain markers of health are reproductive gold. And reproduction is the meaning of life if you've spent any time watching nature.
Don’t just listen to her words, listen to what she’s saying, I very clever person ❤
But she is also rude and nasty.

Disagree with that comment, lazy people are poor?? I usually agree with most of her opinions to be honest but that's a very "poor" mindset to be honest.
I actually like Katie. Yes she says things out there and seemed “offensive” but she’s honest. And we need more honesty in order to get the chaos fixed in the world. We as individuals should take responsibility. They want everyone in victim mode- easier to control.
