All I want is a weekend of football where we don’t have to talk about VAR.
Then watch other leagues instead of the epl😊
Amen
It is the same talk everywhere. I live in England, but as Brazilian, I still support my hometown team, and it's the same discussion. VAR.
It won't happen because even if they get it 'right' some will still complain. There are simply too many big decisions that are subjective.
Sorry, the future is here
As a Tottenham fan, these decisions are absurd. VAR isn’t the problem, it’s the chimps they’ve got watching the videos. It’s a clear foul and Gordon is a mile offside. It was the same in our Liverpool game. Of course three points is nice but Diaz was clearly onside and even I felt sick for Liverpool over that decision. It’s destroying the integrity of the league.
As a Liverpool fan I thank you 🙏
English officials are insanely incompetent
A spurs fan on the side of arsenal and Liverpool? Things must be bad 😂
How is that a foul and how is he offside, do you understand the rules buddy😂
@@callumbrown9311 if you ever played football you should know that if someone pushes you in the back you cannot jump it's as simple as that.
If pushing a player with two hands ain't a foul then i don't know what is
Well it wasn't against City so it wasn't gonna be given
Stop crying 😂
Gabriel lunged himself forward to try and clear it
Hardly a push, but it was offside
Two the back of the neck as well. And if it wasn’t a foul, the ball was out and it was offside
As a Newcastle fan I feel the same the officials were a disgrace should never be allowed to officiate a match again
They are poor officials, but that was a goal.
@@cramster3495foul on Gabriel and Gordon was offside
@@cramster3495yes it was a goal but only with horrible officiating . Let’s talk about Bruno’s red that didn’t even get looked at
@@cramster3495 No it wasn’t. It’s amazing how many people actually don’t know the rules of football. There has to be 2 defending players between the attacker and the goal line. The ball is played forward. It’s not even close. It is offside by a country mile. You really need to scrub on the rules son.
Wasn’t offside but the ball was out of play
The fact that Bruno G wasn’t even booked for the forearm on Jorginho… red cards have been given out like halloween candy lately for so much less
well then havertz should've been off then. no? bruno's challenge would been a ouchey, but havertz is gonna break someone's leg.
@@limmy7411 Oh stop it you baby. Havertz would have had a red if his leading foot hit the player. His trailing foot did and his leading foot went right past with nothing. That's a yellow all day and i've seen players doing that all season and getting either nothing or a yellow. Bruno WWE slammed Jorginhio in the head. Thats not only violent, by down right malicious.

@@sloht4061you're massively downplaying one incident, while massively exaggerating the other. Klopp cried less when they actually had something to really moan about. Arsenal created nothing all game - but why don't you ask for a replay
@@bailzzzzzzSo because we created nothing therefore none of Bruno’s fouls stand, the ridiculous goal stands, and Newcastle is innocent?
What people fail (?) to understand is that the problem is not VAR, but the people behind it.
It's sad seeing people slamming VAR as a concept and not the way it is utilised. It's also sad how people in the comments but also rival managers responded when Klopp made similar complaints.
I honestly did not expect him to be vindicated so soon.

@@NorbertFingersniff Nice argument mate. With VAR, there was actually an opportunity to disallow this goal, as well as give the one in Tottenham Hotspur. Everybody saw it but the VA referees.
I'll suggest you watch how VAR is used in Europe and top international competitions, not just the Premier league.

@@salnk3 I have to agree. Var is making the game worse. Without it the referees make the decisions then if they make a mistake they could not have really helped it if they missed it however VAR can see everything and still stuff up.
These referees are salling out I swear. Corruption at its highest levels
As a Milan fan, if this happened in one of our games, I think there’d be a riot.
Diabolical referring today. PGMOL should really be disbanded for all cases since start of last season.
Exactly
@Squallisdead-mt5dwyou’re clearly not watching the Bundesliga, they’re discussing about refs being bad every single week
@Squallisdead-mt5dw0 ball knowledge tbh, serie a was so corrupt and maybe still is and how is BL a farmers league? Only because of the dominance of Bayern? The quality of the clubs is really high so it can’t be that

Never heard of a riot in Italy.
I am a big fan of EPL. I watch most of the games week in week out for 5-6 years. And for sure quality has increased in the league but for sure referees have been well below par level. It should never be acceptable at this level.
@alta8029r u crazy? Look at the top 6/7 clubs in the pl table. Newcastle hammered psg 4-0 last month too😂😂😂
Raya is a lucky boy there's so much controversy around the goal. Else we'd be talking how terrible (i) his positioning was for it and (ii) how he just completely missed the ball with that embarassing attempt at a punch
He flapped at that. He looked bad today again.
@@BeatRoot14So he made one mistake which shouldn’t have been a goal, which therefore should’ve been a clean sheet at St James’ and he was bad?
Ok let’s face it, Arsenal 2 “world class” gks are thrash
Raya look so list when he comes out for the ball!
Also miss Ramsdale shouting at our players when they mess up. Raya doesn’t have that edge to set the bar high for his Defense
Raya looks like a division 10 keeper
This is what we need coaches and players to speak up and at the end of the day they might fine him😂
He held back there.
Bruno still on that pitch was crazy.
Same goes for havertz
@sjones8772 that's not a straight red for Me, although it was a bit overzealous.
I would be perfectly happy if havertz never set foot on the pitch for arsenal ever again.
Havertz is even more baffling
Havertz?
@@1duhfullWell Bruno’s can be seen as malicious and intent violence. You can’t hit someone on the head with no reasoning in football, this ain’t boxing. I think you might be lost
Spurs fan here, as nice as it is to see arsenal lose, I’m getting sick of these poor officials and this VAR garbage. It actually is appalling and highly embarrassing for the biggest and best league in the world. Arteta is right here, all that work and prep and something so amateur is bringing the PL down
And yet no one is talking about how Arsenal should've been down to 10 men before half-time? Havertz's tackle was dangerous and he should've been sent off - another huge VAR error. That Newcastle goal being given was VARma (VAR Karma)

I'm not an Arsenal fan, but what Arteta said was absolutely true. I was at a match last season (Aston Villa vs Bournemouth) and a goal was disallowed for that exact reason. The ball was out of play. These VAR operators are a disgrace.
I agree but it's about time that the southern teams felt the wrath of the corrupt VAR decisions... Now, maybe they'll understand just how the likes of Liverpool feel!!!!
Arsenal bottling it last season makes a lot more sense now. The manager's weak mentality has clearly infected the players.
@@joesmith5452no one gets more apologies from the FA than West Ham, remember Salah's offside goal that earned you an undeserved point and robbed us of 2 and a chance at CL football? no of course not.

Bruno should've been sent of though.
I still can't believe Bruno was allowed to literally forearm a dude in the head and not even get a yellow. There's a million cameras around the pitch and a bunch of referees and he can just...do that?
we need to start hold officials accountable. post match interviews for officials.
As an Argyle fan, who in the past 4 years has experienced refereeing at Championship, League 1 and League 2 level, i can tell you VAR isnt the problem, the people running it and the referees are. It feels like most of the time these people arent given proper training. There's so much incompetence at all levels of refereeing of football
I blame the state of refereeing on managers and players who continually try and con the ref, Arsenal are by far the worse for doing it so I smile everytime Arteta cries wolf.
@@M1ggins you are a disgrace.
At the end of the season we’re gonna end up with two premier league tables. The one without var mistakes and the one we finish with, they’ll be wildly different.

@@rexdipietro116 there’s got to be one stato out there surely
Arsenal did not play well today, but that does not discredit the fact that it should have been 0-0. That was not a goal, and Newcastle did not play well enough to prove that they deserved a win. Added to that, Newcastle players and the ref have set a dangerous precedent on what blatant fouls can be allowed. Absolute disgrace. It can be argued that Havertz deserved a red, but it is obvious that Bruno should have been sent off after multiple yellow-card offenses. If I were to be generous towards Newcastle today, then Havertz can be sent off BUT Newcastle should’ve only had 9 men. And for those saying that Arteta is being biased because he didn’t have the same reaction for Liverpool, he has always had the “but we move on” type of attitude for similar PGMOL/VAR mistakes towards Arsenal. This one, however, is incredibly outrageous.
Regardless of 0-0 if Newcastle don't get that "goal" they don't park the bus and put every man behind the ball giving Arsenal a chance to actually get a winner. This Arsenal team have regularly scored late goals to win matches so it's naive to think that it was definitely gonna finish 0-0 had the goal been disallowed like it should have been
Well said 👏

The ref and var now decide who wins the game .
Didn`t Arteta tell Klopp to move on after the Tottenham game.
Aged like milk.
Klopp, after watching this:

I feel Artetas pain!!! The refs are now like dictators! No one can question them without being fined.
This man really said he lost three points while scoring zero goals
Nice 0-0 victory bro 🔥🔥
Even worse, he created nothing and got some lucky points this season already
Frustration can change the way of the game and the spirit of the team. Arsenal was dominating.
The goal was originally given by the on pitch ref so if there was no VAR Newcastle still would've won due to Arsenal's inability to create chances, even Saka was poor today. I have no problem with the officials giving the benefit of the doubt to the attacking team for goals-scoring decisions when it's inconclusive even after looking at every camera angle available for 5 minutes.
@@DarkArterialGore inability to create chances? I would say lack of finish, yes. But they had 14 corners my friend
That has what to do with the decision
Rightfully so, the fact we're talking about the officiating every week says it all.
No clue how that goal stood, ball looked out, clear push on Gabriel and also a possible offside but they have no angle available? The 'best league in the world' should do better indeed. There is just no consistency
Yep, happened in the Tottenham liverpool game and now this, the var organization in the prem need to investigated and completely reorganized with better and more thorough funded and training.., They can use the expertise and experience of the nfl and how they referee and use replay reviewing.

Ball wasnt out of play.
@@Zoocsgowasn't a foul either.
VAR was unable to determine if the Ball was out of play, so they didn't intervene. Doesn't mean the ball was not out of play. We just don't know
@@capote481 Clearly a foul and offside aswell. I agree that it probably wasn't out of play though. Even the offside thing I can understand because they couldnt get an angle to see when the ball was played.
But the foul is no excuse, he had both of his hands pushed into Gabriel's back, clear as day
Pushing another player, and in this case with both hands, is generally a foul (see IFAB Law 12). Ref can judge it to not have been excessive, so it has a subjective component. But, there was clearly some pushing.
Its a problem with Arsenal especially it happens way too often. Its hard to believe that its a coincidence or bad luck. Sometimes it doesnt count ,because if they still win, people tend to forget about those easier. But sometimes it costs points ,then its difficult to digest. I would say with no bias ,that Arsenal lose easily 5-10 points every season because of these decisions including cards, not given penalties, ghost goals ,etc.1 or 2 games max.when it goes for them/season,8 to 10 easily or more the other way.
Absolutely correct. Its biased corruption plain and simple. Been the same since VAR came about. I am convinced gambling is involved.
The same applies to Liverpool too. Because of such decisions, Liverpool easily loses 5-10 points per season. The only team that, strangely enough, is NEVER affected by something like this is Man City.
