  • God is lavishly good to us, he loves us faithfully, creatively, passionately. He has called us to walk in joyful relationship with him, where we find security, stability, and meaning. Sin, at its core, is when we reject this relational reality.
The nature of sin is blinding. We need people who know and love us enough to call us out. And we need to be those people in others' lives.
And finally, the Bible shows us that there is always more grace in God than there is sin in us.

Well done with the sermon I always thought it was god’s plan to bring David too repent and what really surprise is that god still allow him to be king of Judaea he forgive him and even gave him a son from that sin

David unwittingly destroyed his own kingdom. I really feel God holds those He gives power to higher accountability. David disobeys and God took away his ability to rule over the land. David murdered one man, and God took 4 from him. David stole a wife and lost his other wives. God even raises up powerful enemies against David's family. Men like Rezon and Hadad. All because David disobeyed and sinned greatly.
11Wherefore the LORD said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant. 12Notwithstanding in thy days I will not do it for David thy father's sake: but I will rend it out of the hand of thy son. 13Howbeit I will not rend away all the kingdom; but will give one tribe to thy son for David my servant's sake, and for Jerusalem's sake which I have chosen.
