How do you deal with 2 Samuel 12 saying God caused David and Bathsheba's first son to suffer and die for David's sin despite the numerous other passages throughout the Bible saying that no child will die for the sins of the father?
When David slept with bethsheba and created new life ,the woman did not belong to him but to Uriah .the child cannot belong to David ,he cannot enrich himself through his sin ,and in a sense justice was done to Uriah ...did you hear and see that in the middle of the sermon?
Pray to the Lord for strength. God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
