Great video Kemi. Learnt a lot
Glad it was helpful!
❤🎉
I dont know why i was suggested this lol but i am a Winnipegger, our family of 4 spends $800/month on groceries now. Used to be $600 but it was killing me the past few years!
My dear you are doing well budget wise. Here in Ontario, just our mortgage alone is more than your entire month expenses. I will do a video like this on my channel one of these days.
Nice, let’s collaborate. Please let’s meet in the DM on IG
Wooow! Rent in Winnipeg is definitely very affordable. I believe this is quite reasonable. You are doing well Sis Kemi. E kpele.
E seun o. To be sincere there are some more expensive rents here in Winnipeg o
Good exhaustive cost of living explanation from our dear Nigerian neighbor in Winnipeg.
Where do you live and how is it at your end?
@@TheKemi-ingWay I live in London UK, rent and petrol is more expensive here, groceries, mobile phone contracts and insurance are cheaper here, internet more or less the same, I referred to you as a neighbor because I am from Algeria in Africa.
Also well done for the way you have narrated the video and it comes out very realistically representative of real life in Winnipeg.
Haa, thank you Sister. I appreciate your feedback and comments. Thanks for also sharing the realities of living in the UK
This is interesting to me because I used to live in Winnipeg. Regarding clothes - for all of you. You need to give yourself a yearly budget for clothing, or keep track of what you spend and divide by 12, so you will know approximately what that will break down per month. Same for any haircuts, beauty appointments, medicines, gifts etc. - basically everything you spend money on, including home savings plan, education plans averaged out over 12 months. I am guessing your monthly expenses including everything would be $5,500.00 + per month?
Hmm, I didn’t view it that way. I guess it makes sense. You are right, I will try to do the monthly average of those other expenses
😊😊❤❤
❤️❤️
thanks you kemi
Thank you 😊
Thank you 😊
@@TheKemi-ingWay Hello kemi I hope you are well. I am a candidate for immigration to Winnipeg. I want to contact you on Linkedin for information on how to find a house before coming? how to find work? but I remind you that I speak French
👍🏾

Pls try make list of the internet and call providers and possibly the ones with good deal. Thanks

Hi Kemi, i'm arriving in July coming from the Caribbean, i'm very nervous about the transition, how do you cope during the winters? And is there any groups you recommend i join to assit with the transition? Love the detail videos xx
It is good that you are coming in summer, it gives you some time to prepare for the winter. You will be fine don’t worry, I personally don’t belong to any group, I just communicate with people around
Hello aunty kemi, thank you for preparing our minds ahead
How is our Ayanfe o tipe ooo my regards to her
Thank you l. She is good o. You will see her soon
Can you make a video on savings scheme for your child?
I could do that
Hi Kemi, thanks for this. Question here...1. once you finish paying for the cost of the phone, the bill reduces right?
2. Does the 200cad or say 50cad include cost of voice calls not Internet calls
It included both voice and internet. Note that voice is only to US and within Canada. Yes, once you cover the cost of the phone the bill reduces drastically
I should relocate to Winnipeg, I mean the rent is cheap. I live in Vernon BC, everything is expensive like crazy
Right, I know it is affordable compared to other provinces
It would add more value if you can show a sheet listing all the essential expenses per month
I could do that in another video
Thanks for the details, I waited this can of video
hello I don't understand in the video you said that the cost of washing ($250 + dryer $275) does this include water and detergent in the evaluation? At the end of the video you calculated laundry $40 I'm lost
$2.50 & $2.75. she mentioned that there is a dollar increase on each
It is 2.50 😁not 250
Over spending depends on your income. If you are earning high your power of expenditure will increase
You are right
❤
❤️
CAD 3200 monthly expenses 🥴 two people working in the household, making upwards of 20 dollars an hour, not bad. Could be more with time as those insurance payments reduce as the years go by...
I am afraid this costs will increase especially with demands from children, increasing cost of groceries and housing.
@@TheKemi-ingWay true, won't be easy but we'll have to make do here. It's our new devil now😀
Canada no bi easy but it seems better than Ontario living. Very affordable rent, car loan, WiFi and hydro costs❤
Thanks for your feedback
Hi Kemi. I will coming to Winnipeg for a conference. How is hotel accommodation like in the city?
Pretty okay, ensure you get one close to your conference location
Sist, help I want relocate to Manitoba.
Wow rent in Winnipeg is so affordable. Ontario is a different ball game. I have a video on our expense and the difference is massive wow
Really? Are you a content creator? If yes, we should collaborate then
@@TheKemi-ingWay Ahhhh Stellz Na Agba content creator oooo! She’s an amazing one at that. I will definitely be excited to see a collab from you both 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻Yayyyy

Haa, you want to relocate to Winnipeg ni
Funny the call electricity Hydro in Canada
Hello Ma,
Thank you for the information. I'm also in Winnipeg and recently purchased a vehicle, but my car insurance cost $206. How can I also get $170?
I use Coughlin, and they told me it's the same price for everyone.
It is the same for everyone, it depends on the amount and kind of coverage you have that determines the monthly amount.
@@kirstenselby1848 mmmm I see!
Thank you
I think it’s a very moderate budget and you guys are living very tight.
Thanks 😊
What about Rent Assist ?
What do you want to know about it?
Nice video but please prepare material and don't extend video too far
Yes boss
Canada today is very expensive and low pays. Toronto 2 beds, $2500 /month exclusive hydro electricity and groceries, and $700 without resto or ordering or lunch and my friend alone 400 but not much ordering eat out😮alone is very challenging if not good salary and more u earn more taxes too😮 car insurance 250 driving after 20yrs in Canada
😮 thanks for sharing your experience. That is a lot o
Toronto and bc are expensive. A lot of other places are quite reasonable.
Hi Kemi
Pls, try to respond to your messages on your TH-cam and improve your communication skills with your audience.

Reasonable budget. Lol @ 4 jobs 😅
Abi now 😁
I live in 🇬🇧 uk and I can tell you for free that Canada is too expensive 😢😢
👍👍
The rent is more expensive in the the UK, the groceries and car insurance are cheaper, make sure you convert the pound to the dollar, it's almost 2 CA dollars to a pound.
@migounane7162 thank you for this
I think you guys are over spending. You guys are living big
Oshey financial advisor
There's no over spending here, their rent is even cheaper and groceries are reasonable. I don't think you live in Canada
That's not true. I'm not sure you live in Canada
Thank you for the response
😁
But you did not tell us how much benefits you are getting from the government
That is not what the video was about
@@TheKemi-ingWayI love this response gan😅
😁😁
@@omolaraadebowale1764 The response gba gan ni...❤ it Kemositica😊
Its not sustainable
Your kitchen looks sooo poor
And how is that your business? 😏and what does it have to do with what I was discussing? You need Jesus
@@TheKemi-ingWay😂😂😂. You're funny
very good spending, excellent budget. I live in the Caribbean .. Trinidad to be precise .. rent alone is $4500 and up for a two bedroom apartment.. food prices are really high here, and on a minimum wage job.. oh boy .. you cannot survive at all... i am back at home with my dad.. and saving my money to move to Canada. love this video! keep up the great work!
Wow, that is a lot. 4500?
@@TheKemi-ingWay exactly .. and that's the lowest.. it's tough here! really tough.
She means, $4500TTD (roughly, $894.72 CAD) the exchange currency is 1TTD=0.20CAD
@@starchic9325 I think that’s still extreme for her currency, considering that they many not be paid per hour for their jobs or biweekly fro their jobs.
@@margareta.836yes, because being paid by the hour or biweekly means you get paid more😂🚮 numb skull
What the hell is a Winnipeg sounds like Canada
