Please choose your Role Models wisely in Life. It is sad that modern-day India has casually replaced scientists and makers of modern India with reel creators.
Standards of society are dictated by who the members of society admire! Please think twice before you casually replace your legends with Instagram models, and TH-cam creators.

True sir, I myself think the reason of not growth in critical ability of people is of not making scientists, teachers the true contributors & knowledge holders as role models.. Today in contemporary era the role models are TH-camrs, reel makers etc...

I really get goosebumps when you talk about our nation being represented by IFS officers globally in your various videos. I don’t know how to connect with you.

I never idolized Bollywood celebs, for me women like Rani Lakshmi Bai, Rudramma Devi, Jija Bhai and modern women like Neeraja Bhanod were true reflection of Women power.
Also the whole staff including women staff of Taj Mumbai of 2011 are the real heroes who risked their lives and saved lives of their guests. I really want to meet them they are true heroes.

I don't believe the concept of a person as a role model as no human is perfect and comes with it own set of flaws, I do believe in role principles
Also visual popularity has been conflated with expertise in all fields,if I will have to learn about feminism I will learn from books of expert, research journals and sociologist, also from practical experience of life of female and male and not from any fasion or Film star thought there experience as female in Film and fashion industry will be a part of my awareness of feminism to but a part not holistic, and atleast I will not comment on feminism until I know about it properly
Also women like sarojini Naidu is what I look up to
Her principles, her work and her struggles, thats inspiring

I don't think Deepika, Priyanka and Kajol should be compared with Sarojini Naidu. Undoubtedly smt. Sarojini was the Nightingale of India but that does not mean that the job of an actor becomes less important. We all felt proud when Priyanka won the Miss World title. I would rather request you to please think twice before you speak something.Since All professions need equal respect so please stop judging. Before calling anybody an epitome of fake feminism, please read the literature of Feminism. Great Actors ( both male and female ) from across the world have been historically the part of Feminist movement which we all have witnessed. Hence , please don't spread false and hateful message instead talk about the new avenues for the youth of the country .

And ppl used to though shit at her due to which she had to carry 2 saree so that she can change after reaching school. Ppl always hated feminism be it for any reason. Its no different today. Ppl try to show best of their religion by hiding bad aspects but when it comes to feminism they intentionally show it in bad light to justify their hate while totally ignoring the majority good part.
Dhruv rathee made the best video on how chapries on internet try to associate feminism with every negative thing done by any woman while totally ignoring the good ones who are majority. No feminist supported any crime by any woman yet crimes by women is labelled with feminism to directly or indirectly disregard the entire movement. There is nothing called bad "morden feminism". Feminism was considered bad throughout history. Even when they standed for most basic human rights.
I dint liked Dhruv Rathee and used to hate him due to his political statements but so called right wing ppl are mostly women haters. Thats quite clear now.

Is it exactly like how men think tu ha kar ya na kar tu h meri Kiran type? It's definitely something that needs guidance but I am amazed how discussing fake feminism is more important than discussing how men think of women. They literally believe they are entitled to a woman. It's so sickening to have no day passing by where you are not leered at catcalled at groped. But again the issue is only women not comprehending what's feminism and not men behaving the way they behave.

History scholar here, Do not wish to say anything bad since past should be judge in terms of past context but lot of these ‘feminist’ figures of nationalist movement period and their ideologies were elitist in nature and they worked towards certain version of feminism that mainly served their class, what feminist historian Geraldine forbes called “social framework feminism” in her book Women in modern India (its a very conventional and narrow version of feminism something that this generation feminist women will never accept).
In other words, i would be very critical before digesting any such information blindly. These OG female leaders did what they could during their life time and we should be grateful to them for at least laying the foundation, but that was not it and everything and definitely not a standard to judge modern feminism.

America, women didn't have the right vote. If you were married, it was difficult to get a job . That's why many people went and fought for their rights. But in India, specifically, southern parts had a lot of freedom. Anna chandy was the first women judge of India. My mother in-laws mother was teacher. She must have been 120 yrs now . My mother was a trained teacher, but didn't work as my brother was specially able-bodied. She could have 102 now. In the kingdom of Travancore, women had the freedom to educate themselves and work. First college in India was in kottayam, CMS college, more than 200 yrs old. Many men went to madras Christian college. Sarojini Naidu was Telugu

THANK YOUUU naman srivastav for making a video on this, there were such feminists like Sarojini naidu, truly said, we the young generation fail to differentiate that who are feminists and who are not- the fake role models like deepika ranveer, also bhumi pednekar doing films on their UNDERSTANDING OF "FEMINISM" IS JUST so so wicked, wrong and basically distorted is clearly felt through their participation on kind of projects. ITS HORRIBLE, COMPLETE WOKE. NO SUBSTANCE AT ALL. THAT NOT AT ALL "FEMINISM", and they are giving such a nice thing like "FEMINISM" a complete BAD NAME, as they are in so called popular culture, people ting such celebs like deepika(who is very popular and have some responsibility to atleast not distort things but she is doing the opposite just for her money blindly, stategically), also actors like his dear husband ranveer singh and manyyyyyyyyy others specially from bollywood. its so so wicked.
THANK YOU FOR MAKING A VIDEO ON THIS, and please do continue to make videos on such topics too.
Indian audience should stop thE BLIND CELEBRITY CULTURE, we should celebrate nice people like SRK(not for their ghutka choice, but integrity he has in character) so do amitabh bachchan we should learn nice things from them, and stop being unconsciously following fake self acclaimed feminist roles like deepika and all.

Sarojini Naidu was an extremely popular household name in her time. It's just that as time passes more youths become invested in the speakers and thinkers of their own generation. Our generation is full of celebrity culture, political cult personalities and godmen. Making it big in India is no small feat so I believe there is something to be learnt from them all, both on what to do and what to avoid. I would like to hear your take on godmen/women and snake oil salesman in the name of religion.

Is there anything as real feminism or true feminism? It's a spectrum and it evolved over time corresponding to the challenges of that period. In addition to this ,women today face barriers that might not be the same as faced by Sarojini Naidu but no less.I think this statement underestimated the struggle of the present era as the privilege mam saying but you are sent to school so there is Second we can only be inspired by someone who has struggles similar to us.

    Yes...!
Firstly we should be able to different the nature of act which someone is doing...
    1) How is film actors (specially in Bollywood) are related to & impacting on the society?
    2) The word 'profession' is being used very vaguely.
Any of the actions can't be considered under this word.
    3) Electing Ms/Mr word/universe leads to discrimination between the physical appearance, which was given bu the Nature.
    4) Such competition creates inferiority in those who are not so blessed by the Nature.
    5) Now a days actors are more on the side of creating negative impact by showing a fake life style which is not at all possible for the common people.
    6) So called beautiful queens can't face the camera without covering their face with layers of cosmetics.
    7) In short, these competitions & such actors are only spoiling the next generation.
