It's been a minute since my last video so I wanted to update everyone on some of the changes I've made to my setup, as well as announce my website! Let me know what you guys think!

It's great to see you are still around and persevering (and continuing to improve your setup!). Here's to a productive 2022!

Yea, a new video. Great to see you and your upgrades. I'm also looking forward to seeing what you put at the website. I built my PrintNC based a lot on your videos and I really appreciate you videos. You mentioned that you have the steel motor mounts and are seeing some wobble. I have that as too. I haven't spent much time on Discord. Could you provide some information on the couplings that people are using to help mitigate the amount of motor wobble? Thanks.

Hey man! Loving the updates. I have a similar flow indicator and had the same issue as you. I initially had it on the inlet side and it would fill with air like yours. It's having to push the air out through the motor which is not easy. I swapped my inlet and outlet (at the pump, just traded hoses on the pump output side) and have the indicator on the outbound line and it is able to clear those air bubbles in seconds. Definitely recommend you do that as it's an easy fix. Not sure if it impeded water flow but it bugged me a lot.

BTW I also swapped spindle mounts (my original one was crap) and in the process I dropped the spindle down lower in the mount hoping it would give me more dust collector mounting room but I had a ton of vibration cutting wood with a 1/4" bit (pretty deep/tough cut but still). I'm gonna have to adjust mine like you suggested.

Thanks for the response! I actually initially had it like you said, and then flipped the hoses to this orientation. I may try going back to the way I had it to see if it does any better.

@@ProjectsbyBrian BTW I'd love to see a video that shows how the tool changer/probe works in the context of a project, start to finish. Like a video that shows the CAM/toolpaths and how tools are setup, then how they're done via the CNC and the tool changer.
Would also like to see how you do air and dust collection via the spindle. Do you use a setting in Fusion like "Mist" or "Flood" to correspond to Dust and etc? or are you swapping out between mist and dust collection some other way?

@@matthewtimbs4919 that is one thing I wish I would have shown in my update video. I will definitely put it on the list.

What 3d printer would you buy if you were a beginner today? ...Lots moving parts in this market atm, so I'm trying to assimilate info from those who seem real and are not in sell mode. Most of us are trying to cut the right corners but at my age it becomes detrimental to cut out the sludge

I would honestly look at the Bambu A1. Even though I've built a voron, to have a printer that "just works" is pretty valuable to me. It's going to cost another $100 or so than a typical Ender, but will save you some potential troubleshooting and headache.

You mentioned a "mesa 7996" board.. Maybe I have the spelling incorrect? I can't seem to find anything online about it. Where did you get that from?

The flow indicator doesn't work properly because the hoses are connected in a bad way.
Here you can see how I made mine and it works flawlessly 👌🏻👍🏼
