    Thanks for the PrintNC vids. One thing that would be awesome for a video would be to show us all the steps needed to mill something: here’s how to go from Fusion to gcode. Here’s how to get it on Linux CNC. Here’s how to home and find size of stock. Here’s what to do to make the operation start.

      @@ProjectsbyBrian awesome. I’ve been looking for a few days and saw nothing quite like it. Your earlier vids on printNC were also good at filling in gaps in the knowledge base and thought this could be as well. I liked and subscribed and belled, so you’ve got at least one view if you do it.

      @Rob Yeah I know what you mean. I might do a dedicated video on CAD/CAM in addition to one of my projects where I use the PrintNC.

    Will never get tired of hearing about the PrintNC, but that dosnt mean I am not excited to see what you do with it too. The small form factor PCs really peaked my interest, but again will never be tired of the PrintNC videos. You just make good videos period!

    How am I supposed to finish my machine and make videos of my machine if you stop making yours! You have been my guide 😂
    Great video as always! Very informative! I’m actually installing your 3d printed chain mounts today! So thank you for the design!

      Lol thanks man! I think mounts are from the community, I can't take direct credit for them. EDIT: It was Luddi in discord that designed the Y axis cable chain mounts.

    Great content, Brian. I purchased a few items off your affiliate link. I was hoping to see the aluminum block listed you used for the Z-Axis T-Nut. I'm happy to purchase through your link if Amazon has a source for that.

    • @ProjectsbyBrian
      @ProjectsbyBrian  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Cory, I appreciate that! That Z Axis T Nut is typically a 3D printed part from the original design, however the aluminum version of it is a custom made part. It's just a modified version of a regular ball screw nut, with two chunks cut out to make for clearance of the linear bearings. I hope I'm explaining that well enough. There are a couple of guys in the Discord that make the T nuts on their PrintNC's to sell to other guys, or if you're handy with a bandsaw, that's how I made mine.

    • @C0RY.M
      @C0RY.M 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ProjectsbyBrian Thanks Brian. I printed the T-Nut, I'm just trying to find that ball screw nut block to modify. I see I'll need to cut it down , I just don't know where to get the piece to cut.

    Maybe if you're going to put this to bed, perhaps a Q&A for subscribers? Lessons Learned? Dos and donts?
    Asking for a friend....

    • @ProjectsbyBrian

      That's a good idea. You mean like gather a bunch of questions from the community and then answer them all in one video?

      @falcon1209 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@ProjectsbyBrian Exactly. Its nice to see you soldier onward, but passing on all your gained knowledge to viewers would be huge! I'm building a PrintNC for a non profit makerspace and I'd appreciate every advantage I can get going into the process.
