Today we're going over how to bomb in the season 4 GVG tower map, which will become the keep next season.

For anyone wanting timings for lvl 4 bombs, imagine the energy thing as a clock:
1. Bombs in front at 8:35 ( 8 cost and slightly after it's half charged )
2. Spiders in the middle, first set of 3 right before 6 cost ( 2 ticks or something before 6 cost ) and then the other set immediatly after.

very welcome, this and Maw is mainly how I manage to get some wins since my account kinda sucks at 3.5M BP and everyone in my wars is like 5->7+M BP :(

In GvG I only use about 6-7 soldiers. The 2 epic tank types depending on enemy comps. The legendary HP Tank/DPS dude and the legendary AoE mages. And among epics: the long range archers, the melee tank killers (shadow-something), and the healers. Sometimes i use the AoE plague epics. Very rarely do I use any other, and then mostly to experiment.
Anyway, my point is it'd be great to use a wider variety of the soldiers for different situations/maps. For example, having a defense map, with at least 2 avenues of attack. The main one, normal sized walking units take, and alternative ones that only certain soldiers can navigate, like flyers, or low-to-the-ground units like the bombers or dogs.
Yes, there are plenty of strategies that use more of the demon soldiers! I’ll be going over some of them in more detail soon

Thanks for this really detailled guide, 3rd Spider pop before bomb drop is a huge tips to avoid bombers to suicide on tank.

Dang. I wish I had watched your video before attacking a very tanky team yesterday. I was so confident because I had higher BP and it was a flop for me 😂😂😂

I use bombs in much the same way but I like your timing technique to get them past Tanks.

Hi Slate, do you recommend not affiliating till you actually want to attack then auto affiliate?
I usually have most of my most used units affiliated all the time and dont often change them.
@@ebony_shogun-7796 Hey, so before attacking you should max BP your top 5 heroes and then these are who you’ll use to affiliate all your demon soldiers before each battle. Just make sure you restart client after BP maxxing and before using auto affiliate as it sometimes won’t recognise the new gearing and affiliate the soldiers wrong so it’s always worth double checking. Hope that helps!

thanks for the guide! ok I have slept on gvg and I'm having trouble understanding under what circumstance the bombs go off properly. the spiders fill the defender's blocks so the bombs can pass through, and then they just explode wherever they die? their description says something about not detonating at all sometimes and if they pass through they aren't blocked anymore so I'm confused
@@MisterDingus33 The bombs explode when they’re blocked by a hero. If they’re killed before they’re blocked, the animation looks similar but does no damage - I think that’s what can get confusing. So yes, the idea is to fill the defenders block so the bomb passes through - get blocked by the fighter behind and go kaboom. The reason you use more than 4 “blockers” (spiders, abyssal, r tanks) is because some of them will die as your formation approaches and you need to ensure the bombs pass through. Very rarely will you be up against someone where everything passes and the bombs reach the portal but hey, that’s still a win. Let me know if you have any follow up Qs
