Trying to get in a rhythm again. The back is still in bad shape, but I feel focused and motivated about the content. Thanks for the well wishes. They mean a lot!
🎉 By FAR the most important video on RSL I’ve seen in a very long time. Excellent research and analysis. This channel is for players who want to learn 🎉
Hi! I was already conviced, but Nice Video. Only math correction I can make is during the process from 4set to 6set, you should have considered a "CRUEL" set as base, instead of an Offense set, that would have resulted in 1.16667 vaule instead of 1.4 during the 6th piece calculation, meaning 4.67 instead of 5.6 but still 18.97 as final value I guess. Also worth mentioning that Savage is less acquireable then lethal during late-endgame, and that is a -0.83 value of the Crit. Rate part. In anyway Merciless is the most powerful set, I agree. P.s. I try to use savage/lethal on HP/DEF champs or those heroes that likes to have 4 stoneskin + ignore DEF :)
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. The reason I didn't use cruel or lethal as the baseline comparison is because they aren't baseline sets. The Offense set is the baseline set for ATK sets. Savage is the baseline set for ignore DEF sets. Cruel and Lethal are actually advanced sets that are superior to their respective baselines. For instance, one OFF piece has 7.5% ATK value. One Cruel piece has 7.5% ATK value plus 2.5% Ign. DEF (which is 40% of the value of one Savage piece). Therefore, a Cruel piece has a statistical benefit of 1.4 pieces. Hence, it shouldn't ever be the baseline unit, because the baseline unit should have a value of 1. If you wanted to make Cruel the baseline, you would have to the represent an OFF set as a fractional piece, and that's more confusing and requires more work.
@@ColredPlaysRSL Ok, I understand, but the behind question was "how to use the 6 slot of artifacts + 3 slots of accessories". If we say merciless is ~20unit value, we should have also analyzed the value of lethal + cruel, or savage + cruel, otherwise it seems like the value of merciless is like between three and four times better.. Instead is like a bit more than a double value for those 6+3 slots 🤓. I also understand that the video was for encouraging midgame players to advance in Sintranos. I think it's about doing plaguehome and deadrise in normal difficulty; players that are already doing it and wants to venture those areas in hard, are probably already considering offense set a "sold instantly" set, because of all the other three advanced sets (fatal, divine offense, cruel).
Heh. I get what you're saying. But to analyze and compare every impactful set in the game would take a week of prep and 3 or 4 videos at least. I was just trying to get people thinking about a set they might otherwise not value properly. I agree that a deeper analysis is possible and even potentially beneficial. I may consider that idea for future videos. Thanks for the comment!
You are welcome. I have a few city videos, but not many. If there's a topic you would like me to cover, just hit up the suggestion channel in the discord and I'll try to get to it.
Another superinformative video from you! Really liked your content! You among others in the raid CC community have inspired me to start making vidoes aswell :) Keep it up, big fan
That's awesome! It's a lot of work to do YT, and more to do it well, but it's also highly rewarding (personally - the money in our niche is pretty meh). I wish you the best of luck!
That's a pretty good idea. I could do that. Takes a little longer to prep for a video like that, but I think it would be worthwhile. Thanks for the comment!
@ColredPlaysRSL I enjoy Saph's higher math breakdown on them. Yours is unique way of looking at them which gives another outlook. Another good topic would be a comparison of slayer vs merciless as a side by side 4/6/9pc levels.
Awesome vid my friend. Actually realised a few months back i really should farm merciless and it sky-rocketed my damage dealers for sure. Got 3 good sets now, the accessories are still lacking though. Only point of feedback is that reflex puts a skill fully on CD compared to 1 turn form merciless
Good note, thanks. I knew merciless was good, but I really didn't know how good it was until just recently. Unfortunately, RNG has not been in my favor with Merciless gear. So, although I have hundreds of pieces at this point, I've only got one good 6-piece set on my account.
I absolutely love all your videos it shows a great way to complete content without dropping my wallet into the game. The merciless seems so strong but I didnt think of trying to complete sintranos normal as it didnt look as good as hard mode rewards
Thank you! And yes, Sintranos hard has better drops - more 6-star gear, etc - but even 5-star merciless can be very strong, so it's worth getting into normal mode.
Slayer is really strong, especially for specific champions. One of my favorite things about the set is that the first set bonus is crit. rate, which means if you have 1 accessory for a damage dealer, it's that much easier to get 100% crit rate, even if you're building them in another set.
@@ColredPlaysRSL big facts, big impact on being able to get nukers in c.dmg. gloves too. rings(I think) have been the easiest or most common available as well
Great video as usual you r the best as breaking down all these stats...so far I got Thor in 4pc merciless with 2 PC feral as my place holder until I get those 2 more pcs
You're welcome! And I agree - the variable sets (now that there are more of them than just protection and stone skin) are really beginning to take over as the go-to gear sets. I think the additional versatility of mixing and matching these sets helps too.
Stats trump sets when you have a specific build you need to match for some solution. Otherwise, you want to collect pieces based on their sets. For instance, a crit dmg gauntlet in the daze set is not nearly as good as a crit. dmg gauntlet in the savage set, etc. I hope that answers your question.
Thank you for the breakdown. My only question is how is the relation 5* vs 6*. 6* Savage is a lot of extra stats across the board. How does it stack 5* Merciless vs 6* Savage?
That's a good question, and you'd have to do a stat comparison between 5* and 6* gear in general to know. But I will say this - the set bonuses are the same regardless of the star level of gear. So you're still getting the 35% ignore defense, and the extra turn chance, etc, regardless of what stars your gear has. So that makes me think it matters less. Merciless 5* is probably still crazy strong.
I really like these 9 piece sets because the accessories add a bonus for each piece you have. I can pick a 4 piece set for a champ and mix and match amongst the 9 piece sets to improve them. The generic faction accessories can be replaced by one of these 9-piece set of gear to improve your champs. I think in a year or less, the normal faction accessories will be replaced by these 9 piece set accessories, and content creators will talk about how about this 4 piece sets of Lethal gear or Savage gear etc..., is best used with some mishmash of these 9 pieces set of odds and end sets of gear.
Intro should be at least 30 sec with a good hook. 2 min intro is crazy. Love your content you cover. Keep up the work hope a little feed back would help.
I appreciate the note. We all have our own styles, and I'm always focused on improving. My videos are longer than those of other CCs in the space. My intention is to provide additional value for that time. But yeah, I can still get better.
Merciless is exactly what it's named; and is a big deal on damage dealers. Level 50 with barely any masteries (fully booked), with this kit in 6 pieces on Phranox at 8 to 12 level each - resulted in level 20 and 21 Faction Wars last 4 of 63 stars Knights Revenant.
Yeah, it is. I wasn't really aware of how good Merciless is, because my luck with drops has been nothing short of disastrous. But I finally put together ONE good set (after hundreds of pieces farmed), and it's easily my best damage build already, at 6-pieces no less. Hits like a truck.
While Merciless may be the best for Def/HP nukers too, it's such a waste to put it on them, that it's hard to justify. Maybe on the top couple though. :D Protection and Feral should not be ignored - they both have extremely powerful abilities at 9 piece.
Agreed. None of the 9-piece variable sets should be ignored, because different champs are optimized in different ways. This video was just about "power." I think there are lots of sets that are extremely useful, even moreso than Merciless.
Are Defense-based damage dealers mitigated too harshly to justify putting them into Meciless (given that Meciless is attack-based stat bonus oriented)? ...and I just got to the point in the vid where you address that... I hope you get well/are well/stay well-You're a great content creator!
Heh. Yeah, I think Merciless is still an excellent set for DEF and HP based damage dealers, but the slight reduction in value due to the waste of ATK does make the issue murkier. Thanks for the comment and the support! 🫡
I was afraid you won't mention merciless on def/hp champions, but you did! so, only a few small things left worth mentioning. 1) Feral, while slower to acquire, is always 6* and worst case epic, with huge % of players getting 6* legendary pieces. So build up of good feral gear is not as slow as it may seem. 2) There's a quirk of SS i almost never see mentioned. In Dark Fae fight, every stat of your gear is copied but NOT SS buff. so if you struggle with speed tuning a Fae team (or even struggle to get a good combo of champions to cover all roles) you can get away with putting everyone in SS and killing your copies on easy mode. 3) For me SS is still the best set because merciless is only good for DDs, SS can be good for any role, and if Odin's dungeon is a sign of things to come the importance of SS will only grow with time.
Thanks for the notes! I did mention Dark Fae briefly, but not the specifics. I didn't remember that about Feral, but you're right. That does make it a little easier. Cheers!
I don't own a Staltus, but I imagine any regular PvP damage set. For Ninja, relentless can actually be a fantastic set, but if you're speed tuning him, you may not be able to use it. So be careful.
Estimating the stat value is a decent but rough way to compare sets. The issue is that you can't compare how valueable certain stats and effects are. An example would be, a defence based attack. The way you quantified the merciless stat bennefit doesn't apply anymore, because the Atk stats are worthless now. A protection set probably comes out with far less stat value, but that's not why you pick that set. How much value is having 75% of your buffs protected. You can't quantify that. If you tried you'd have to change it for every champ in the game.
I actually state all of the things you mention at some point in the video. This is far from a complete and perfect analysis. It's just one potentially useful way of illustrating how powerful a set may be in comparison to other sets in the game. Like all information, it needs to be utilized in context - but it's still useful information to have.
Great video. But like everything else in this game and in life, it all depends on what you are trying to accomplish. For instance, if you are trying to solo Ice Golem with Artak, merciless is not the most powerful set. If you are trying to build Vergis to solo Borgoth in DT Hard, merciless is not the most powerful set. However, if you grade the sets on the specific criteria you outlined in the video without regard for specific in game requirements, then yes, merciless is the most powerful set. Remember though, I don't think there is a specific requirement for a specific set in the game. IMHO this game is more roster reliant. So you can complete the game content without any merciless gear. It just makes it more difficult. But some people like that type of challenge.
Agreed. As a F2Per for 3.5 years in this game, I accomplished nearly everything before merciless was even introduced to the game. You certainly don't need the set to succeed. And there are plenty of other sets that work better for other champions. I do say that in the video. But when I say "most powerful," perhaps the best way to think of it is this - if you built every champion in the most optimal combination of sets for their roles, the champions in Merciless would collectively do their jobs the best. Based on this analysis (and my own anecdotal observations), I believe that statement is reasonable.
It depends. On Fayne, I would consider it, depending on how much damage I needed and if I could still get the ACC necessary for her debuffs. On Geo, probably not. He does damage through a different mechanic than direct-damage dealers, so I think Merciless doesn't suit him so much.
@ColredPlaysRSL thank you. I'm trying a merciless gearset for Fayne now considering there's a hammer quest for Gear. I saved it as a preset. If it doesn't work out, I figured it will benefit another champion. I joined one of Sun's clans yesterday.
Awesome! Welcome to the cluster. Happy to have you. And yes, that's a great approach. Either it will benefit Fayne, or you'll have it saved for someone else. And there's even a free gear removal event for you to experiment with. Perfect timing!
Yeah, I don't like that aspect. In fact, I really don't like the number of RNG-reliant mechanics in this game. That's one of my biggest criticisms of RAID. Too many mechanic are just RNG on top of RNG on top of RNG.
Ha! That's a BIG question. I did a video on this like a year ago. You may be able to find it on my channel. Maybe I'll do another one at some point in the future.
@@ColredPlaysRSL I'm going to check it out I'm trying to get Lydia I saw your video you were pumped I need to finish demon spawn, lizards and shadowkin I only have ninja for shadowkin faction so it will be awhile the probably will drop the next faction before I finish faction wars lol
Value per piece vs value as a set. Mathematically, (so technically, you may be correct) merciless may well have the greatest value per piece and at milestones as a set for damage dealers, but I would use 9 piece protection on a buffer for a different overall benefit. Would you stick merciless on Siphi as it's the best set per piece of all sets? What value does it now have? How much better is Siphi in this set over being in 9 piece protection? Zero, it's a detriment to her value. In fact, a 9 piece protection set not only protects her buffs, which is unquantifiable by any set, it also increases all allies damage by 5% so making anyone in a merciless set even better. Does that make protection now the best set overall, as it even boosts merciless beyond what it can do? This is a horses for courses argument imo. There is no one set to rule them all. There is only... This is the best set for X type of champ. Now if your whole argument was... Which set is best for damage dealers, then I would have no argument there. I just can't go with value per piece as a true means to determine what is the best set in the game. Stoneskin is probably the best defensive set in the game for PvP, but bolster outshines it significantly in PvE. What type of champ and where I am using the champ, determines what gear I put on them. So sorry, on this one, I have to disagree due to technicality of value per piece may be correct, but it's misleading to think this makes it "the best set" in the game. Edited this in... I do hope your back is better, and looking forward to services returning to normal soon :D
I think you missed some parts of the video this time, Dharin. I'm not claiming that Merciless is the best set for all champions. I'm just doing an analysis of the "most powerful" set in the game based upon a comparison to other sets. In fact, I say several times that Merciless is for damage dealers. So, I agree, Merciless is useless on certain champions, like Siphi. That doesn't affect how powerful the set is, just how versatile it is.
@@ColredPlaysRSL That was why I said "technically" you may be correct However, what I'm also saying is that the power of the set is still tied to the type of set and what champs it's used with. Then there are those unquantifiable things like the protected buffs, protection from sheep, chance to do repeat damage on aoe's. These will change the overall outcomes because there are less stats per set but have high value abilities attached to them, and ignoring defence can be matched with other sets in game. I like the idea but it's apples and oranges when you can't compare the ability to ignore defence to placing a block debuffs at the start of the turn, or prevent sheep where there are no "regular" sets that have these skills. It could be argued that actually merciless is the weakest set as it "only" ignores defence and gives you some stats when there are other sets like savage or lethal that also do that, and it doesn't do something else like ignore ss, or unkillable which no other set does. So again I say it's apples and oranges, or point of view. And I did watch it all ofc lol. As I said, this video may be "technically" correct when just measuring stat values. However 3 pieces of pinpoint is no protection at all from cc effects, and 9 pieces of merciless makes no difference to a full set of ss until it's gone, and you may already be taking a dirt nap by then. It just doesn't feel right to make the statement that merciless is the most powerful set in the game, when it clearly is not for 3 of the 4 types of champs in it imo. There are new and not so experienced players watching this, and some may come away with the impression that they need to forego other farming to concentrate on these 2 sets, and that could set them back a great deal in the pursuit of relatively rare and difficult sets to attain over still useful sets for them that can be farmed with relative ease in comparison. I hear what you say, but I still think you are wrong overall just because raw stats is not the measure of the sets in totality. You decided the "best" set. Not "best in class" because you choose merciless and stoneskin which are designed for 2 very different purposes and came out with a winner based on set combinations and not their overall value with special abilities included, and you didn't take into account types of champs in game. The value of this set is for about 20-25% (approx) of the total amount of champs and that's being kind by adding all the defence and hp nukers in too. Always happy to debate :D
You have to trust people to think for themselves. I didn't need to tell you that Merciless doesn't belong on support champions. 99% of players should get that without me saying so. Anyone who doesn't is either super new (and can be forgiven) or just not paying attention (in which case they'll figure it out on their own eventually). You, Dharin, are totally entitled to think I'm wrong in my conclusion that Merciless is the most powerful set. But, if you're judging my conclusion based on the erroneous assumption that I, or my viewers, can't distinguish how different sets are used, or that we don't understand that qualitative benefits (like stone skin buffs) need to be considered on their unique merits, then I think you've mistaken the premise of the video.
@@ColredPlaysRSL Part 2... I think the real question here is what set is the most powerful per TYPE of champ. Merciless would top the chart for most nukers sure, but the point of me saying put it on Siphi and it's not much more use than her being naked regardless of how many combined sets worth it is as the stats and benefits are worthless to her skillset. So be it the equivalent of 20 or 50 sets values it will still be pointless on her. it's relative powerfulness is zero on that type of champ no matter how you try figuring the maths behind it. You could as easily say that merciless is the weakest set of all, at least from the point of view of a support champ that does no damage and I would be correct, but oh so wrong to characterise it that way too. Thus, "most powerful" is relative and not set in stone(skin) lol The parameters where not given at the start to what type of champ but the stats it gave in comparison to the common sets as if that alone is the determinator for most powerful. I refute that premiss based on that it's relative power per type of champ that it's actual value is for, is not only the minority of champs in the game, but also the minority as to the type of champs in the game. it's overall use is relatively low when compared to other sets in use by value. It could be argued that the most powerful set regardless of variety of stats be it a variable set or multi piece set would fall on the shoulders of the humble perception set due to it's total usage, but am I correct, again, not for that same lady, Siphi, no it's certainly not. But maths can be used to calculate the answer to the question, but is the question the right one to begin with? Enter arena and you will face SS everywhere even on some nukers. The answer for that content is a resounding no. Enter DL CB where the boss's defence is low so is it needed on champs there/ The answer is, you can, but... it's a complete waste to put it on a champ that is locked into a tune and is thus probably useless everywhere else for most no endgame builds. What about IG hard. Do you really want to smack it hard? I wouldn't if I was you, so you can see, even if it is the most powerful in some cases, it's not universally so. I love the debate, so now tell me why I'm wrong
@@ColredPlaysRSL Edited this in... Part 1 is missing for some reason. However, I more or less said that your last reply was taken from one small section of the entirety of the piece from the 3 and a bit lines below. "There are new and not so experienced players watching this, and some may come away with the impression that they need to forego other farming to concentrate on these 2 sets, and that could set them back a great deal in the pursuit of relatively rare and difficult sets to attain over still useful sets for them that can be farmed with relative ease in comparison." No I did not take an "erroneous assumption" at all Colred. That sounds a bit pissy tbf. That element of adding what is clearly true just by reading some of the comments below and in discord every day. There are many new and relatively new players. This is from this video. @franciscoe3 1 day ago Where do you get the merciless set from? That is just one comment from this vid. They matter too. Discord channel is full of newbies also. So please don't forget that Colred It was also just a jog reminder addition to the actual conversation/debate which you completely avoided by inserting your answer on these consequential, but ultimately irrelevant to the actual debate going on, and I believe you are smart enough to know it too. That smacks at avoidance because a good point was made to which you have no answer. Now tell me why I'm wrong 🤣🤣 Scientific revue is always about "the right question" and "how it is posed" There are 4 sets in HH's gaming opinion in the S+ tier list. Not 1, Not 2, Not 3, But 4. They are all different in their nature. If you notice, they each have their speciality. Merciless - speciality = nuker class. Ferral - speciality = debuffer. Stone Skin - speciality = PvP. Supersonic - speciality = Support. Each of those is simply the "most powerful" for each type/class. That is how you measure a set, not on how many overall stats there are and/or special abilities at a per piece level. How many champs in the game use/can use these compared to the others. How you set the parameters and pose the question(s) WILL determine the outcome. Just ask any politician or pollster. Simply put as mentioned above, the Perception set is in reality most widely used, and most likely to be the most powerful set of all because of that. It is needed by all debuffers, and many support and nukers too. It's the most versatile at the very least. I personally believe that the Protection set could sit with that group of 4 too, but that's my opinion. What is not opinion is that Merciless is "best in class" for "most" nukers. What is not opinion is Stonekin is best in class for arena. The facts are born out by how and where they are used and to what extent and not in total stat values, or per piece value. My opinion is that the Protection set sits equal with Supersonic in the S+ tier for support simply because they are used slightly differently and both do the job "they are designed for" perfectly. Please reread the comment you answered to in a more measured way and answer what was posed and not the side-line of the new players "working it out for themselves." That is simply not good enough when they are trying to work it out for themselves by watching YOUR videos. If you give them wrong, misleading, or incomplete information, then that's on you, not them, not people like me pointing out mistakes, omissions, or having to rectify misconceptions placed by others that is not entirely correct, or simply has a much wider scope than what was explained leading to conclusions that could set them back in their progress. But they will work it out for themselves (eventually) anyway right?. Does that not make it matter then? The premiss of your video was to compare these 2 sets according to what other common sets combined to get a number based on those parameters in a way to quantify per piece plus any unique factors. Ok here it is... Merciless has a combination of 3 other sets, or type of sets. Merciless has 3 all other sets have 2 + some have unique factors such as prevent sheep. per piece value is almost 20. Ergo Merciless is best because it has 3 and has a value of 20 per 9 piece set. But by the way, if you put it on 75%+ of the champs in the game, it's completely and utterly useless. That is not a real answer at all and missing the point I tried to say which is... The one set to rule them all, does not exist. It is simply not right to place the title of "The Most Powerful" on a set that is only useful for less than 25% of the champ totality in Raid based on a per piece premiss. And is almost always only 1 quarter of a team setup. 2 supports for every nuker is the general rule of thumb, and that means the most powerful set, if it exists, is likely to be one of the 2 I mentioned for support. Even then, I would not say the most powerful set, but rather the most powerful set for support champs. which = Best, or "most powerful" in Class. That's my Happy to continue the debate, but if no, then that's ok too. But please debate the substance in future and not the fluff please. I hate wasting my time, and I find it an insult to my intelligence too, and that does irk me. Not this time. I always throw out a gently warning first time out.
Stone Skin is hands down the most valuable and annoying set in the game. You can use anything for PVE but anyone who is end game knows Stone Skin is the difference between winning and losing.
Yeah, but you just outlined the limitation to stone skin right there - it's 95% for PvP. And for 99% of the player base, PvP is a secondary thing. But I will agree with you on this - Stone Skin is BY FAR the most annoying set in the game!
HH set tier list is not up to date, and also lacking in a lot of ways. The stoneskin set is still a 6-piece set according to that list. They should just take a screenshot for the 9 piece sets. That or make a table of what effect you get for every additional piece.
Fair. I come across things on the website from time to time that are out of date or out of touch. That being said, the website houses a MASSIVE library of information and advice on the game. It's still the best online resource in the entire genre, IMO.
Didn't forget. Just limited my focus. I think Protection is extremely valuable. So is my favorite set - Perception. But this video was about "power" based on a specific definition of that term. I'd be willing to do further analysis of all the sets. Maybe I'll be proven wrong and Protection is stronger than Merciless. Or maybe it's weaker, but it's versatility makes up for it. We shall have to see.
Protection gets my top vote. Defining utility, pure damage, speed builds. Overall protection is better. Stoneskin is good...in arena for a couple of turns only. New pinpoint also suffer a turn count limitation. Any set that only offer initial burst utility cant be considered good. I often just Helicath, then A1 to run out stoneskins. Of course I die to uberteamens quad stoneskin 450+Arbiter debuff nuke, rinse repeat. I would have died to them with or without stoneskin.
I did mention Protection towards the end of the video, and I think it's very good. But I don't actually think it's a top-3 or maybe even top-5 set. Of course, I enjoy the fact that we, as players, can choose so many different gear sets and still be successful. I think the sets we value highly reflect our play-styles. So I can fully appreciate that, for some players, Protection might actually be their favorite/most valuable set, while mine might be Perception or Slayer.
Im only at 3:42 but i just want to say feral set is so nice i just got a warlord and had him 3 piece but got a 4th piece today to put him in now hes 257 spd which is good for my account (fastest is arbiter at 321) and hes at 608 acc. But him being maybe slower than other LA teams might not matter as much now with the 4 piece feral. Dont have any accessories for him so so add another 3 pieces later down the road if needed
I agree. Feral is very good. Maybe I'm wrong, and Feral is a stronger set than Merciless. Atm, I don't think that's true, but it would be worth investigating. Thanks for the feedback!
@ColredPlaysRSL I'd love to see you do this sort of thing with feral bc unlike 4 pieces ss buff it might be easier to calculate the benifit of 4 piece feral for example
Because of your videos i started back playing this game as F2P
Welcome back! I'm glad you've found the videos helpful. I hope you enjoy the F2P life. 😁

This channel IS for players who want to learn! Thank you for saying so. And thanks for the comment! 🫡
2 pieces Pinpoint accessories is so useful for me with the extra speed.
Agreed! I'm starting to put Pinpoint accessories on everyone. I'm going to be farming Odin until the last moment.
Thanks for this. I have never ventured far into the city so I don't have merciless. You have motivated me. Now I need to find your city videos :)
You are welcome. I have a few city videos, but not many. If there's a topic you would like me to cover, just hit up the suggestion channel in the discord and I'll try to get to it.
Another superinformative video from you! Really liked your content! You among others in the raid CC community have inspired me to start making vidoes aswell :)
Keep it up, big fan
That's awesome! It's a lot of work to do YT, and more to do it well, but it's also highly rewarding (personally - the money in our niche is pretty meh). I wish you the best of luck!
Thanks for going in depth into this stuff
You're welcome! I hope the video helps you out.
Great video Colred! Would love a breakdown like this for protection and the supersonic. And maybe a deeper dive later kn the others 9 pc sets
This was such an enlightening and helpful video!
I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the comment. 👍
Great Video/Presentation!!! Thanks for helping our community!!!
You are welcome! Thanks for the comment.
Good morning Colred. And you read my mind. And thank you for this video. Cheers
Great minds...🫡
Awesome vid my friend. Actually realised a few months back i really should farm merciless and it sky-rocketed my damage dealers for sure. Got 3 good sets now, the accessories are still lacking though. Only point of feedback is that reflex puts a skill fully on CD compared to 1 turn form merciless
Good note, thanks. I knew merciless was good, but I really didn't know how good it was until just recently. Unfortunately, RNG has not been in my favor with Merciless gear. So, although I have hundreds of pieces at this point, I've only got one good 6-piece set on my account.
brilliant breakdown....thanks for all the effort put in
You are welcome! I hope the insight proves useful to you.
@ColredPlaysRSL OK thank you I will do thank for the advice
great video, very much needed. thanks for the slayer shout out, sadly it is still bugged so its hard to evaluate lol
They fixed it. It just has a chance to do 30% extra damage now
@@MrIndman the fix was still bugged, saph has videos on it
@@MrIndman not trying to be that guy but that isnt how it works anyway

Thanks! Good luck on getting those 2 merciless pieces. May the RNG be with you!
Great video, The Colred that we all know ;)

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the videos.
Thanks for an interesting video Colred!
Think most of the 9 piece gear sets are really good and use them more and more on my champs
You're welcome! And I agree - the variable sets (now that there are more of them than just protection and stone skin) are really beginning to take over as the go-to gear sets. I think the additional versatility of mixing and matching these sets helps too.
Thank you for the video, question as an early-mid level player would you say stats trump sets overall?
I agree entirely. In fact, I've been thinking about making a video exploring that exact idea. Thanks for the comment!
Comment for the algorithm, great as always 👍
Thank you!
While Merciless may be the best for Def/HP nukers too, it's such a waste to put it on them, that it's hard to justify. Maybe on the top couple though. :D
Protection and Feral should not be ignored - they both have extremely powerful abilities at 9 piece.
Cheers!
thank you for this break down
Whats a good set for staltus? Is relentless good on ninja.
I would agree that Merciless is the best set for damage dealers. I will be building Thor in my best 6 piece Merciless set
Yeah, me too! Although I'll also look at my slayer set - which is great for AoE nukers as well.
peace friend, again a great job.
Thank you!
great video thanks
You are welcome! Thanks for the comment. 👍
Protection is under rated. S imo
That's fair. I kind of missed that it wasn't listed in the S tier and it should be. Thanks for the note.

Would you put 6p merciless on Fayne or Geo for your CB speed tune?
Perfect timing!
great as always
Much appreciated. 👍
I propose getting rid of the 50/50 chance to remove stoneskin if you have sufficient acc. It's dumb that my 600 acc madam can't strip 300 res champs.
Yeah, I don't like that aspect. In fact, I really don't like the number of RNG-reliant mechanics in this game. That's one of my biggest criticisms of RAID. Too many mechanic are just RNG on top of RNG on top of RNG.
Subbed and liked.
Hey, I appreciate that. Thank you!
Where do you get the merciless set from?
City of Sintranos bosses.
What is your daily routine in Raid
Ha! That's a BIG question. I did a video on this like a year ago. You may be able to find it on my channel. Maybe I'll do another one at some point in the future.

Just stinks that merciless accessories in Sintranos are really only available on hard. Normal only gives for amius
That's true. Should have mentioned that. Thanks for the note.
@@ColredPlaysRSL
Part 2...
Thus, "most powerful" is relative and not set in stone(skin) lol
The parameters where not given at the start to what type of champ but the stats it gave in comparison to the common sets as if that alone is the determinator for most powerful.

Where do you get the merciless set from?
That is just one comment from this vid. They matter too. Discord channel is full of newbies also. So please don't forget that Colred It was also just a jog reminder addition to the actual conversation/debate which you completely avoided by inserting your answer on these consequential, but ultimately irrelevant to the actual debate going on, and I believe you are smart enough to know it too. That smacks at avoidance because a good point was made to which you have no answer. Now tell me why I'm wrong 🤣🤣
Scientific revue is always about "the right question" and "how it is posed" There are 4 sets in HH's gaming opinion in the S+ tier list.
That's my
Happy to continue the debate, but if no, then that's ok too.

Mans literally forgot to put protection on the tier list. Forgot the most versatile set in the entire game. lmao.
@@ColredPlaysRSL Not even you, it wasnt on the HH tier list either.
Feel like Protection should be way higher in the list.
