Regarding the Soulbone Archer targeting, we faced a clan with a *lot* of them last week and I watched a bunch of their attacks, and I'm pretty sure they just prioritize whoever is closest to them.
So at 18:44 they target the Khamet first because until they get somewhere between 2 and 3 tiles away from the defender, the Khamet is slightly closer (e.g. at 3 tiles away from the defender, they're two diagonal tiles away from Khamet, or 2 sqrt(2) ~ 2.8 tiles away from Khamet).
Also, I'd personally send in a tanky unit before them just to soak up the damage (edit: and potentially bait out ultimates) and let the Soulbones get a bit more damage in before they die.
Yea fine but then it is dumb. They will always target tank unless people mess up their placements
@@fastidious_gg I sorta agree with that, but I think if they preferably targeted non-defenders or the hero with the lowest HP in range or something like that they'd completely break the game mode since they can kill most DPS units and even healers in a few shots.
And at least for the Central Keep map I find it's actually pretty tough to make an "archer-proof" defense. You basically have to go three-deep on ground units (front-most one a tank), one platform DPS, and one healer. But it's then fairly hard to make two "complete" defenses unless you have a bunch of the legendary ranged fighters.
And even then, a leveled up Book Keeper might be able to take out some important units with their splash damage?
@@fastidious_gg If the tank is at max block cap the archers will move past them and attack other units behind the tank.

Nice vid! What's been working very well for me is to wait for 10 cost, send the Destruction Knight and send Stitched Carrion back-to-back, have patience for 10 cost to regen again. Send Knight and Carrion again. Defenders are occupado. Patience for cost again and send 2 sets of dogs at the same time. After that, just unload what I have left.
So far, I can take teams that are 50k BP higher than me regardless of their set up. I'm sure that'll chance eventually, but it's working for now! 😁

The role reversal is super fun to me
It really is quite fun. There is a more of an involved strategy than the first guild wars too.
One thing I found useful it If they have delete buttons (say silas). Is to bait the ultimates before releasing the archers.
Thanks for the strategies! Talking about defence: not sure if I ve got it right, but it seems that you can move the gear after the preparation mode without influencing your bp. So if you set your defence with proper gear, you can unequip those heros afterwords without making a mess. Good luck for the weekend.

@@filippovolsi4062 it locks when the prep period ends btw. Not when you set your garrisoned teams like I thought
@@fastidious_gg And the prep period end at least 5 minutes before reset. I found this out the hard way and have 0 gear on my Khamet for this week.
Be cognizant of your opponent’s ults. Throw some weak and fast units ahead of your archers to bait their ults out so you can smash them with the soulbone archer and the tanky dudes. Also, the AOE daemon is way OP, send two and melt any healer on the edge platforms or behind defenders.

Yes Setram is probably the best example for this with his 10 odd seconds of being useless after his ult. If he's the only marksmen you definitely squeeze some fliers through if you time them well.
You get the legendary mage from either GR 1, Guild Boss or Void Rift as you already said in the video. So i guess you got it somewhere there and didnt notice
I check my DS pretty often tho and absolutely did not notice them til yesterday
Great vid as per usual haha! Btw you can see where to get each legendary or epic demon soldier by clicking on the 10/20 shards, it should say which places you can earn more of a specific monster.

I've had an auto result only get 2 through, when the manual play got 3 to the crystal, so I wouldn't rely in it always working.
I'm planning on running Janqhar with Soul Drainer for a 4 block fighter with blocked enemies unable to use their basic and having 30% magic vulnerability. Might be a bit squishy even in full tank build but definitely gonna try it out and see if it catches the other guilds out.

I know you mentioned a ton of things, but got stuck thinking with some of the very first concepts of skilling up Legos. How should I use crystals ? Just in top tier champs ? I've noticed how scarce they are, should I just pile them up in case I summon a lord some day? Currently sitting at 11 and I've got some leggos what would benefit (silas, hex, lasser, arrogance, falcia, volka...)
You should definitely put skill crystals into some of those. I would go Arrogance then Silas then Hex
i been using the red archer since 1.0 version. it's insanely good but u can counter it too but vs some comps they can give u a free win.

I used to open with the Knight of Destruction and then rush with my Lizardfly Imago. But I just got the epic archers, so I'll basically run the Knights, then the archers then the flyers. That will win a lot of the battles.
I also got some new legendary demon and didn't realize it. It was probably from my auto gear raid runs.
Hey fast I got a test for you. When you win all eight battles you get a score of 240 when you attack the towers I believe. The last round that I played I lost one battle but I actually was able to fight a Garrison person and win. I received a score of 225. So the question is do you get more points for fighting the Garrison compared to fighting the tower. I was going to try to do it this round but unfortunately my account is fairly new in my guild sucks...
My strongest affiliate is/was Laya. Even before I maxed her skills out. I just maxed her out this past weekend. I also dont have multiple copies of her. Yet somehow she gives demon soldiers the most and I don’t understand why.
Could have something to do with her being a lord? Or maybe something to do with healers in certain builds - my Sadie is my top affiliate, and she's 2 away from being maxed (and I probably won't do that for a while). My Azhor's also weirdly high, for being level 56 and having no skill crystals invested (just the "free" skill levels).
Have you tried the Axe Slaughterer (the 2 quantity big boy axe swingers). THey've been destroying tanks left and right whenever i deploy them while also bringing some decent tankiness. I haven't run into a tank that can withstand them (set apart the invulnerability ones that just sit there for a while).
Interesting. Are they outperforming your Destruction Knight?
@@fastidious_gg Yes they are by far. Especially since 2 of them are coming out at the same time. I even had a 20k higher BP unit on the destruction knight and i still found them way better.

@@fastidious_gg I still suggest sending in a tank beforehand to absorb some ults (with a healer or two) and then bring them as destruction team. Been running quite successfully on 23/24 wins the last 3 rounds of fighting.
Here I am thinking I’m the only one with the red archer strat. Now everyone is going to switch up their defenses🙈

Like me, many players won't have the archers to use, so it won't be everyone, yet.
@@Thurgosh_OG I’m seeing everyone else’s accounts in guild war and I suppose I’ve gotten unreasonably lucky. I’ve got 3 Lego’s and 1 of them is already level 2.
2-6 last week, my team has 270-280k defending team's lowest bp has 320 and 330k, didn't stand a chance

I wish no i do not! He is strongest just as a lord. Needs a3 for proper damage.
@@fastidious_gg Yeah, I pushed him to A5 since for the longest time he was my only AoE mage. He can do OK damage once he's ramped up, but I haven't been able to get him to carry me through GR1-19 yet (I don't have a Tear of Starlight or a top-tier Soulbound Arcana set yet, either of which would help a ton).
I got the Lego mage from raid 2 not sure if you ran any but that’s where i got mine
I ran it for 15-16k points in the tourney. But I thought I had checked my DS and didnt get him. Must have gotten two lucky drops at the end!
@@fastidious_gg the mages Realy destroy tank defenders, it's almost like they coded inn a % dmg boost compared to other units. And i think they screwd up, since the flying mecha has magic dmg, it also tends to do more dmg to tanks, to where they just nuke them down.
Hopefully after some more rounds, guilds will be more sett in their mmr, couse atm, from what I have seen, it's a coin flipp of either being destroyed completly, or destroying another guild
I wish it was skill based not BP based. PvP is where I start falling out in gachas. If I'm bad at the game I can accept that. If I'm losing cause I'm poor (or makes me feel poor)
PvP is always gonna be wallet based

bahahaha, bro, i love ya, but man it's like you've never played an RPG. you don't send in your ranged dps BEFORE you send in your tank! What I've been doing is sending in a super beefy tank first so they blow their ults then send in my ranged guys to clear out THEIR dps. Now if they have leet heals, Send in a tank to soak up damage, then overwhelm with speedy units to byppass their block. Don't even bother with DPS
Hard disagree. If I know they will get the kill sending them first makes sure my Templar takes no damage from the dos they kill.
@@fastidious_gg yeah i made that comment at the beginning of your video and the more i watched, your epic archers are beast! they can take a lick! mine aren't that burly. you keep doing you! i gotta step my game up!
