    Many of us working at the old Wolf's Sporting goods store remember showing this movie endlessly during the deer hunting seasons. I pretty much had the words memorized. Thanks. I love the old movies and photos .

    I can’t even tell you how the story warms my heart it reminds me of going up to the ranch with my uncles and his friends and listening to their stories! there all passed away now I’m 40 I have two little boys five and seven years old that are just getting into hunting and I hope one day they’ll enjoy listening to my stories.. that part where you said well you know how it is with family first blood gets the animal I laughed so hard that’s something my uncle would’ve said, thank you for sharing it means a lot,

    I noticed that you respond to a lot of comments left on here, I think a lot of that. So many of the " famous" guys on here don't because they don't have "time". That says a lot about how much it all means to you personally, and you as a man. Thank you sir for this great glimpse into the past.

    • @BlazedTrailsForgotten
      @BlazedTrailsForgotten  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Will, first, I'm not famous, ask my wife. Second, I was lucky to land in a family that made they're living in the western outdoors from Alaska to Wyoming, then on to other countries like Mongolia, Africa, and China, to name a few countries. I hope you folks like my stories. I'm head-on assignment to Africa, so I will post another new one next week.

    I went to the high school cafeteria in Palmer AK to see your dads film, High Wild and Free, and later, Challenging the NW Territories. He narrated them. They were both awesome. I have them on DVD that I bought in Gardiner MT. BTW, ‘first blood’ doesn’t always get the animal, first fatal shot does. You got that buck, congrats.

    • @BlazedTrailsForgotten
      @BlazedTrailsForgotten  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Will Dad had taught my middle brother and me how to run his movie camera, a new 16mm Aeroflex. I hate having to film but like stile photographic. However, my brother was a pro movie filmer. He had the eye for filming and liked it, but not as much as cowboying.
