Barry Sherman sued literally everyone including the police department, their house builder, and over 1,000 cases just against the government, not to mention his business lawsuits and the very controversial lawsuit by his cousins claiming that he owed them each 5% of the drug company Apotex when the original owner, Barry's uncle, the then orphaned cousins' father, died.
Anyone of his enemies, including his own son whom one of Barry's daughter accused him of murdering their father, could have hired the killer or killers.

I thought I read there was thousands of lawsuits against Barry over the years and he was known for not paying even if he lost. Marketing generic drugs would make some people mad who make huge profits from a non generic drug. Even though the police look incompetent regarding not even having charged anyone there are lots of loose ends.... No security at the house which amazes me considering he was worth supposedly 5 billion.

    • @incognitotorpedo42

Generic drug makers don't make "enemies". When a drug goes off patent, everyone knows that the generics makers will swoop in and make it. That is standard pharma business behavior. No hard feelings; it's what happens. Everyone expects it. They weren't killed for that. Just from what I read in the comments, it sounds like the guy made a lot of enemies through his own behavior.
