Just a tip guys. The MSC MDR food is definitely Mediterranean style recipes but you can order the food that you got at the buffet in the MDR. Just ask for pizza, fries chicken and they will bring it!

I was on this same cruise with my niece and nephews. We ate at the steak restaurant and the hibachi place, both had great food! The gelato was to die for so we got that every night. Loved the balcony in the room. We had a great time! Loved the video.

We went on a 7 day cruise with my cousin. He wouldnt shut up about calories and being healthy. So we all kept ditching him most of the 7 days. Our cruise was a Forget About our Worries and Enjoy Ourselves, not worry about calories or being healthy. He was ANNOYING!!

Food is probably one of the most important aspects of a cruise, unless your cruise line has a private island, then it is up for grabs. My first cruise was a 4 night one(3 nights was not recommended) and the food was very good except for the desserts. At that time, many desserts were made of gelatin but they did have some really good ones made with the good stuff so very few passengers ate the gelatin ones! Though the food in the main dining room was great, the ship did have a couple specialty dining rooms and the surcharge was only $25 each. Except for the size of your ship, the food did not impress me at all. Thanks for sharing your journey!

Glad you had a good time guys, but from what I see, I don't think I would try MSC, looks like they skimp on a lot of things (plus, I've never heard of them). Thanks for your good reviews!
If you enjoy olives and savory flavors try a vodka or gin martini made dirty or filthy. Cuts out the pure alcohol taste.

I have only been on Princess and didn’t like the normal restaurants, I only liked the specialty restaurants, they charged $25 a person, but it was worth it.
I agree, we did sailed princess for Alaska and the specialty dining (we only did crown grill) was really good. The anytime dining restaurants were not. The $25 was definitely worth it, like you said
The high cost of tipping is what gets me ,plus the cost of water 💦. Crazy.
