Thank you Francesco for sharing your trip. You made me laugh about being on layovers and going to the hotel room and clicking the door closed. Yes, I use to do a lot of those movements about a layover in general. But there were times I use to go down to the hotel bar with not expecting to be with crew members to have a drink on my own. Sometimes to take a break from being around the nice crew members was relaxing. Also, yes, I got used to always working the wide body aircraft. I, my former airline were flying the old DC-10s. Man!! I use to love those aircraft and the 767s became my bridge in working the 777s. Finally, the 747-400s to Hong Kong I also fell in love working. On those 747s, I use to always leave the First Class galley to the most senior F/A and I would go and help Business Class main cabin downstairs and upstairs. It was fun.
You do what you and John want to do. I'd be going on all the Disney cruises as well if I was that side of the pond.
So sorry you're having to move again but that is a crazy increase. No wonder you're moving.

I'm pretty sure the housekeepers would prefer a tip rather than housekeeping help.
three years ago I purposely routed myself to ride on a 787 for personal reason. The trip was the first time to ride on a 787 and 777. Like you said; 'who doesn't like riding on a wide body'.

Was missing your vlogs! Sucks about the rent increase-I used to work in FLL (same airline as you!) and thought it was expensive THEN, I can't even imagine if I lived there now . Loved the clear blue backpack-good for concerts and festivals that they only let you use clear bags to come in so it could be very useful!
787 is my favorite as well! but after getting to fly on the a350 a bit, it’s a close second. I know a lot love the a380 but that’s just too big to me haha. I’ve gotten jury duty TWICE in the 4 years I studied in the us…. & I’m not even a citizen so I couldn’t even go if I wanted to 😂
Best of luck with the move. I've heard from a former college professor who moved to Florida that rental prices have been insane of late. He was literally given 90 days notice that his rent was increasing by almost $500. As always, thanks so much for sharing...

I am glad your friend came to visit that is always so nice when friends visit and you both have a good time, and as for that rent issue that is crazy I am glad that you and John found a cheaper place and I can't wait for that vlog to come out. And the cruises as always you will have a great time and enjoy it you and John work hard and you always deserve a fun and relaxing vacation. Did Jury duty yesterday…arrive at 7:30 and left the courthouse at 4:45

I've been called for jury duty twice. Once I was in process of moving to another County so was excused. The second time the case was settled.
jury duty can be easy or difficult ... depending on the case ... it can be short (a day or so) or it could be weeks ... first off you may be questioned by the attorneys for both sides to see if you can be impartial (this is done in the court room in front of the judge and the accused) before being selected to sit on the jury ... then again if they don't call you to question you it means you'll be free to go because they have enough people to serve ... anyway, it's a fascinating way to experience the legal system from the right side of the law ... justice matters! ... good luck! 👍
Thank you for helping us housekeepers. We are one of the most unappreciated (hard work less pay and no tips) van drivers get more tips then we do. No one understands we are on a time crunch in each room may have anywhere from 18-25 rooms in a 8 hour shift. Any help from any of the guests is very much appreciated.

I've been called for Jury Duty 4 or 5 times and served on 2 jury panels, both for murder trials. Very stressful!

Jury duty, if you don't get selected is much like your airport reserve. Sit all day, but the jury service pays you. Not sure how much in your area, but it's $17.50 in Chicago. If you do get selected you get to have fun and decide someone's fate. It's boring. Bring a book.

I got jury duty when I moved. I no longer lived in the county. You have to write to the judge to excuse you.
