I've had this since it came out March 11. I have not run into any problems. Configuring the buttons while in game is nice. Can dial in your settings fast. As far as xim being better? Don't know never used it. Great on fps. Rainbow 6 or Division 2.
So it looks like the M2 still has the shortcomings of interpreting the analog stick. Jittery motion, on/off feel. The Xim Apex is much, much closer to a true kbm feel. But if you're strictly a console player and not used to pc gaming I can see the appeal for this on the PS4, but I can see Sony going the MS route and allowing a mouse on the console which will make the Hori and Xim redundant.
Hi i have hori tactical and on GTA5 is not working. Is not working the mouse, just the keyboard. And you must know is the only game i`v tryed, i dont know if hori have problem. Keyboard is runing showes red but mouse dont red dont show is on. Is normal?
@@laganapricatebra yes you can. But it simulates a thumbstick. So you can't walk slow like with a controller. That's the only thing I'm missing. But I recommend.

Well, I bought the Hori TAC PRO Type M2 and connect it to the PS4 pro. It works, but slow mouse movement won't work, it feels like the TAC Pro won't recordnize the movement (like in the first version). Try to connect the APP with Bluetooth, TAC Pro refused the connection, try to find a solution, but not possible without manual, software or some other stuff. Nice try, send it back after 3 hours of testing ...
Do you guys have any experience with the Nostromo/Tartarus/Orbweaver on PC? How does this compare? I have the Tartarus and I like it; does this thing have a joystick? I really want to do away with Razer products where I can. I don't like having to use their software; I don't like that sort of tyranny. Also, don't feel corny/cheesy for saying that you have a "tactical advantage" with one of those; you really do. I play MOBAs with my Tartarus and pan the screen with the thumbstick, while playing the game like normal with my other 4 fingers- all on a fully customized layout that is close together and comfortable. I'm not even interested in this for the console. I'm against bringing the mouse/kb to console; that's kind of cheating. I prefer to play shooters on controllers. People bringing mouse to the console world kind of ruins it. I don't play shooters on PC; but I do utilize the crap out of these sorts of controllers for MOBAs, Diablo, RTS, MMORPGs, etc. -Tactical advantage is real.

How did you all update the firmware? I tried to update but it stays the same version and keeps telling me to update(even though it said update was successful). What firmware and software(app) version do you have?
Wow the input lag is so noticeable from the overhead footage of mouse input to the actual player movement in game. That’s terrible! I was a very good pc gamer but now an avid console gamer. With the input lag you guys demonstrated (yet didn’t address in your video), id never buy this product. This same input lag and acceleration issue was a problem with the old version of this product. I do like the PS4 type left thumb controller built right in though. I prefer to use that other than w-a-s-d on the keypad. But that can’t overcome the input lag and acceleration issues.

I just got one, its great! Tried using wasd and didnt like it at all coming from a controller, very thankful it included the thumbstick.

Just try other smartphone..then just buy a new mouse then add some right setting that its good to go
If slow movements didnt count you had high deadzone dummy, its not product's fault.
@@slimretro2659 after the firmware-upgrade the recording of the movement is still better. I recommend to everyone to do this.
