In my opinion, a difficult customer is one who is mean, rude, argumentative, negative and hard to work with. This bride was none of those things. In fact, I found her delightful. Randy is always kind, thoughtful and gracious.
She was difficult cause she just kept saying not to the options and didn’t contribute with suggestions. She didn’t even want to try the last one cause of the little blink it had upon Randy pushing she tried it and was the best. She even recognized she was difficult at the beginning. She was not rude or disrespectful but definitely was a difficult appointment
I’m so glad Randy was honest with her about the first dress she loved. Just shows his integrity to wanting his clients to look their best and not just make a purchase. Love ❤️ you Randy!
I agreed with him but I think she could have just worn one of those sticky bras for lift and a corset in the front to help her curves. Like most brides have all kinds of contraptions underneath to look good so I don’t think that should necessarily be a disqualification but if she didn’t want to do all that then yeah don’t go with that dress but I definitely think it could have been helped rather than just getting rid of it
I mean if that's not what she wants then she has the right to a different dress but showing fat isn't a bad thing at all and pushing that onto brides definitely won't help them especially in the long run

Trying on 10 dresses doesn't seem so bad to me. Most of the dresses didn't flatter her figure. I'm surprised they didn't show her a plain satin architectural dress. However, the dress she chose made her look beautiful.

It's more there's a limit on how many dresses you can try on at a single appointment. Typically an appointment is only 2 hours long and it takes time to get in and out of such elaborate dresses. I don't feel like they were calling her a difficult bride, but more the appointment was becoming difficult (and the title just is worded to be click bait-y) because the time was getting short and they wanted to help her find the perfect dress. I did my dress shopping back in October/November and went to three shops in total. Each time it started out slow and casual but as the end of the appointment got closer it got more difficult in looking at dresses because I only had time for maybe 3 more dresses but there were maybe 6 possible ones to look at that had been pulled for me. My yes dress was the very last dress I had time to try on in the 3rd shop. Luckily it was the end of the day right before the shop closed so they didn't have to rush me out right away and let me keep the sample dress on while we set up the order information (I loved it so much I didn't want to take it off lol even though the sample dress was far too large on me) If I remember correctly, my yes dress was the 27th dress I tried on over the total of 6 hours of dress shopping I had across all three appointments.
There's a limit in how many you can try on during a single appointment. The appointments only run so long so that the next bride can have a chance. She should have made at least two separate appointments to try on that many dresses.

Even if she tries 100 dresses.. if the dresses don't "WOW" her, it's a no. It's not "terrible". It's not her fault that the dress doesn't feel right for her. You can't choose how you feel about anything. If it takes 100 dresses, so be it. At least she found the one she was looking for and that's all that matters.
If you take a 100 dresses you've got commitment issues and actively trying to avoid the wedding but putting the fears on the dress and/or an absolutely insufferable diva who is dragging their family/friends through hell because of multiple appointments.

Not everyone views a piece of fabric as a symbol of their whole relationship. They just want to be comfortable and not spend hundreds or thousands on something they don't like. I wondered that too, then I looked back at her friend's face. You could see that her friend was studying the brides face when she walked out in that second dress. I believe her friend gave a positive reaction to it, because she had noticed that the bride really, really liked that one.
The one she chose was similar but it suited her figure far better....her chest looked far better (not drooping like in the other one) and her stomach was nowhere near as prominent(the other dress highlighted her stomach as it was more fitted and the fabric also showed it off far more). So a much better choice the one she picked.
I love how Randy is so honest because it didn't do her justice. 10 dresses is that it! I ended up trying 120 before finding my perfect dress. As soon as I put it on I knew! Thank goodness they weren't all at the same shop. But the 3 dress rule that some shops have would have killed me and I would not have returned.

I've seen comments in previous videos that the bride/entourage were at the salon for as much as 11 hours, with the bride trying on LOTS more dresses than shown online or on TV - just edited down, but, of course, with the drama still included.
I think the language barrier and the cultural differences is what makes this version of the show more difficult for Randy. He's a foreigner in a foreign land, and it shows.
There are also the cultural differences when it comes to wedding dress styles and expectations, particularly in the strapless and bling or no bling areas.
If I'm paying thousands for a dress and I needed to try on 10 or 20 dresses to find the right one, I'd be doing it and I'd expect the consultant to be onboard.

The more dresses you try on the more it shows you're anxious about the wedding and the marriage falling apart due to commitment issues. They've literally done psychology research into this topic and studies with picking a wedding dress.
I tried on way more than ten dresses during my bridal appointment! You schedule time for your appointment, and it’s fair game how you use that time as long as your are respectful with your bridal assistant and with the dresses. I had no idea what style I wanted because I rarely wear dresses so I tried on a little of everything they had to get an idea of what I liked before I picked. I also didn’t buy right away but went home to think about it and then decided. I was extremely happy with my dress!
Since this dress is special, trying on ten isn't unreasonable!!! She knew when she tried the last one on it was fantastic! Sometimes patience really works.
The perfect Dress for the Perfect Bride. I'm so glad Randy encouraged her to try on other dresses, as he was right about the first dress she liked. It did not flatter her at all. The one she finally chose was Perfect for her.

Love Randy’s gentle brand of brutal honesty lol, i get what people are saying about the first one she loved and yet- found it so refreshing she did not even seem to notice or care or be insecure about that (to the point she needed to have it pointed out to her lol) - it was what she wanted as far as the backless part and i can see why she wanted to show that feature, it’s lovely & I love her tattoo!!! but I agree the one they all settled on is gorgeous & do think it will be more flattering in photos 😉✨👍 PS! I think shapewear is underrated bc if they did happen to want to go with the first one, i think its possible just some great shapewear underneath could’ve fixed that little issue too 🤷♀️ just a thought. Oh & i do love (on the dress they chose) how the straps on the back come in, it makes it a little more unique, its very sweet.
i think I tried about 8-9 dresses and wanted to call it a day. The dress I wanted just didn’t exist and I was super tired. But then the lady at the store showed me they could alter a dress I liked to the sleeves I wanted, and that made it perfect!
I think the first dress she liked could have been great with like a corset or body shaper underneath. I loved how the back perfectly framed her tattoo. Wonder if that's ever considered as an option at appointments
The first one she loved, she definitely was showing a bit of a paunch and didn't really flatter her figure at all. But the last one fit her figure perfectly

I tried on 9 in one fitting… there’s a reason they give you an hour and a half for a bridal appointment. I also came back a second time to try on my top two favorites to make my decision. That isn’t “difficult”… that’s smart lol. Dresses can cost thousands, and they are final sale. You want to be certain before you say yes!
It’s okay to be sure but she kept saying no to suggestions and she was going to chose and unflattering dress. She was polite and friendly but was a difficult appointment. Randy saved the day.
I don't really understand why the consultant chooses the dresses and not the bride, like they just met them and will choose a dress based on the description they give but I think it would be much more quicker if the bride searched as well 😅
As a bridal consultant I’ll tell you that it depends. If you are a bride who has done a lot of research, been to other stores, or has a very clear vision of what they are looking for I don’t mind letting that bride pick out their dresses. However, that is not the case for most brides. Many don’t know what they want, don’t understand silhouettes, fabrics, or the way the dress will look on their unique bodies. I’ve seen the dresses on women of various shapes and sizes so I know most of the time how the dress will look on the bride and that saves a lot of time because I will then only pull ones that are more flattering to her body type (we only usually have 1.5 hrs). The other reason is that in a high end bridal boutique there are hundreds of dresses and it’s just impractical to let people loose in the stock, especially considering that they aren’t usually sectioned off by price and you could easily pull something out of budget. In addition they look very very different on the hanger and in bags then they do on the body.
Angela has a beautiful mature figure and they found the perfect dress to compliment her personality and shape. Her smile when she saw herself in the dress said everything. Good for Randy.

Love Randy’s gentle brand of brutal honesty lol, i get what people are saying about the first one she loved and yet- found it so refreshing she did not even seem to notice or care or be insecure about that (to the point she needed to have it pointed out to her lol) - it was what she wanted as far as the backless part and i can see why she wanted to show that feature, it’s lovely & I love her tattoo!!! but I agree the one they all settled on is gorgeous & do think it will be more flattering in photos 😉✨👍 PS! I think shapewear is underrated bc if they did happen to want to go with the first one, i think its possible just some great shapewear underneath could’ve fixed that little issue too 🤷♀️ just a thought. Oh & i do love (on the dress they chose) how the straps on the back come in, it makes it a little more unique, its very sweet.

i think I tried about 8-9 dresses and wanted to call it a day. The dress I wanted just didn’t exist and I was super tired. But then the lady at the store showed me they could alter a dress I liked to the sleeves I wanted, and that made it perfect!

I think the first dress she liked could have been great with like a corset or body shaper underneath. I loved how the back perfectly framed her tattoo. Wonder if that's ever considered as an option at appointments
If you need a body shaper or corset then it cancels out the open back that's probably why they didn't consider it in her case

I tried on 9 in one fitting… there’s a reason they give you an hour and a half for a bridal appointment. I also came back a second time to try on my top two favorites to make my decision. That isn’t “difficult”… that’s smart lol. Dresses can cost thousands, and they are final sale. You want to be certain before you say yes!
It’s okay to be sure but she kept saying no to suggestions and she was going to chose and unflattering dress. She was polite and friendly but was a difficult appointment. Randy saved the day.

I don't really understand why the consultant chooses the dresses and not the bride, like they just met them and will choose a dress based on the description they give but I think it would be much more quicker if the bride searched as well 😅
As a bridal consultant I’ll tell you that it depends. If you are a bride who has done a lot of research, been to other stores, or has a very clear vision of what they are looking for I don’t mind letting that bride pick out their dresses. However, that is not the case for most brides. Many don’t know what they want, don’t understand silhouettes, fabrics, or the way the dress will look on their unique bodies. I’ve seen the dresses on women of various shapes and sizes so I know most of the time how the dress will look on the bride and that saves a lot of time because I will then only pull ones that are more flattering to her body type (we only usually have 1.5 hrs). The other reason is that in a high end bridal boutique there are hundreds of dresses and it’s just impractical to let people loose in the stock, especially considering that they aren’t usually sectioned off by price and you could easily pull something out of budget. In addition they look very very different on the hanger and in bags then they do on the body.
That dress is very flattering have a wonderful wedding.
