Watching this on the peloton before I build mine haha! Just came in today!
DONE DEAL !!
Fun little plane.
Recently got this plane and it goes together quick. Plus it flies really good.
Built like a tank too! Learned to fly with mine and she takes a beating!
@@ShadowOppsRC yes it's like a tank but the damn wing clip fasteners are weak points. Hit wing after stall and broke the tab. Got it fish with JB weld for plastic.
Great video guys! Amazing that it goes together that fast and that easy way to go Freddy! Dave, great filming! John, I think you found your calling. Great Maiden also you guys did one heck of a job. Take care
Thanks for the kind comments Robert. I enjoyed spending the time with the guys on this.
I'm on my 3rd kingfisher. NOT crashing, I fly mine so much I wear em out. Using 4s, avian 60a esc, 13x5 wood prop. It flies like a timber x, & tows big 2m gliders with ease.
The tires DO get softer! On grass, about a dozen landings. Asphalt/geo-tec as hard as it is should take less. Especially when doing several touch n goes at once!🤪👍
Good to know. Thanks for the info.
My kind of plane. Nice and sweet. Nice maiden guys. Nice job Freddie! Keep up the good work.
Thank you kindly
It's really a nice plane for newbies. Keep on with the good work 🙂
Will do. Thanks for the comment.
Great FPV Palme!
Wish you would have shown the radio setup but I will just go by the book and figure it out. Not sure how to trim it myself so I may ask for some help from a club member on the true maiden to get it dialed in. I am installing a 6 channel Lemon RX. Not sure what you used or how inexpensive they might be? I started with the 1220 Ranger myself and this will be my first plane with flaps so I have that to learn and practice with. Then onto my CZ Cessna 150 after my skills improve enough to feel comfortable.
I don't show radio setups for every plane I show. I have about 200 OpenTX and EdgeTX videos you can watch if you need help learning to setup your radio.
@@RCVideoReviews Can you share some info on the RX you used? I have never seen one like that. I get that Open TX and Edge are vastly different than Spektrum. Thanks.
First
I was wounding of it was ok to use these single line antenna ELRS receiver with plains. I’m glad the see they experience people using them thanks.
It's fine. Just make sure the active element is clear of RF non-transparent things like carbon fiber, batteries etc.
anyone have any tips for nervousness when flying. I can drive a motorcycle in crazy Vegas traffic cool and calm but a soon as I put that switch into throttle active my hart gos crazy.
Keep flying! Seriously. And if you don't have one yet, get a simulator. For airplanes, I like Real Flight the best.
I’ve been flying 18 years. I always shake . Even flying turbines. It is what it is.
