The studio version of this is one of the best songs for cruising.
It's nice that you enjoyed it so much.🤗
What I love about this clip is how much fun they're having.
Making your living like that wouldn't suck.
Shout out to the production crew. The filmography of this LIVE concert is incredible.🤩
he word you were searching for is "synergy"

Terry Williams was on fire...reason it was the first time his dad went to see him live. Ever so proud of both.

I was there, I was 18 in 1983 and it was brilliant, the best, although you don't appreciate it so much at the time, I thought it was normal for a band to be this good live, its not and they were phenomenal.
We are so lucky to see the recording now.
Terry Williams was world class on the drums, every fill was perfect.
Now you have to see the Alchemy version of Telegraph Road
    It was the Encore...

Thank you so so much for giving my request your attention. I really appreciate you taking the time to do this reaction. It means a lot and made my day. Thank you! Yes, the drumming in this performance was phenomenal. It left me breathless. And you’re so right when you mentioned how comfortable these guys are with each other. When you see a group who have mastered their craft to the point that they can just get up on stage and have fun with the result being an iconic performance… well, it truly is impressive. And I know your ratings are tough. I was even happier that you rated this at 100%. I’m so glad you liked it. It’s one of my favorites. Lastly, Your backyard, your garden is lovely. It was nice seeing it over your shoulder during your reaction. Thanks again and please keep your reactions coming. You are different, have a level of depth that is missing in most other reaction channels. Rock on!😎👍

Telegraph Road - Alchemy is astonishingly beautiful. Terry Williams - drums and Alan Clark - keyboards are phenomenal. Hopefully you will do this reaction. It may leave you speechless. In a good way.
"Well a long time ago, came a man on a track
Walking thirty miles with a sack on his back..."

Great comments. Love Pink Floyd and Metallica, but they didn't/don't offer the mix of constant "energy," talent and synchronicity that this performance did, this it "IS" the greatest Live performance of all Rock bands.

As great as the lead guitar played by Mark Knopfler is.... the drummer, Pic Withers did a fantastic job. He drove the song just as much as the guitars. Mark has a style called "finger picking" which is not that common in rock music. It has an unusual sound which I really like. Take care...

    • @Elerad
      @Elerad 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

It was actually Terry Williams on the drums in this performance. Withers had left the band prior to the Alchemy performance.
