Muay Thai fighters have insane records because of how often they fight and how long they’ve fought. A normal UFC fighter probably only takes 1 or 2 fights a year. Muay Thai fighters start at a very young age and fight professionally almost weekly.
I don't know why UFC fights are so rare. I just discovered them, but it doesn't look like my favourite fighter is fighting any time soon lol
@@slimxshady6111 mma fights are more physically taking because of wrestling and all aspects of martial arts being involved and trying to bargain contracts so they fight a lot less

How can he have so many fights and not be a dribbling mess. Even if 1% of those kicks / punches land over 190+ fights / training he must have real CTE.
it’s also popular to get drunk and high DURING fights and constantly smoking cigs. Yeah they don’t make a lot of sense but their training is usually pretty playful and not “lets kill each other” bc they have to fight legit so often.

It's because of the way he fights. Dude barely gets hit with the reflexes he got so he can fight for a while. Its also the gym he originally trained at as well which produced a lot of Golden Era Fighters. If you've seen crazy fighters like pornsanae or etc, they usually retire when they are 30 because of the insane fights they endured in their career. Then you see all the technical fighters with high fight iq that you never see bleed in a fight like saenchai, where he has more than 300 fights.

For those wondering why the number of fights: pro Muay Thai fights happen basically all the time as opposed to boxing where professional fights are decided months before, in average, with advertising and pre-fight drama and whatnot. Pro Muay Thai fights are closest amateur boxing fights in frequency and execution

In Thailand, Muay Thai fighters usually fight to at least 100 fights, and that's because Thailand as a country is pretty poor, so Nak Muays live Muay Thai just so that they can feed them and their families. On top of that, they love it, and you can rarely beat someone who loves what they do

In Thailand they start fighting as young as 6 or 7. And get paid. Therefore from that age they are regarded as professional fighters.
Therefore 200 and 30 odd fights is very believable and understandable. They'll sometimes fight 3 or 4 times a month.
