Exelent video as always. I was the one saying the thing about dark eldar having an easier time growing their numbers, my idea was that the dark eldar are not really cap on their population growth by the amount of viable couples they have at hand, like the craftworld eldar. Say that a craftworld has X viable couples at the moment, that craftworld can only make X divided by two new eldar at the time no matter what, maybe a bit more with twins or so, but the same amount of dark eldar can just get more vats to increase that number, those are not true-born but they can still fight for the cabal. Eldar are limited in their growth by the number of viable couples they have, but dark eldar are only limited by the amount of vita womb clones they can feed into maturity. Instead of speeding up their growth, they just put more of them to growth at the same time, and thus they increase their numbers faster in the same amount of time.
@@Martainconcetti yes and I absolutely agree with you so lemme try to explain it a bit better now cause every time I’ve tried I feel like I didn’t say it right lol. I was saying that the dark eldar are usually gonna have smaller deployments because their raiding groups are very numerous and rarely strike at the same target whereas when a decent sized craftworld goes to war it essentially deploys everyone rather than little raiding forces of a few thousand. But yes you are absolutely right an entire cabal or just the dark eldar in general have more numbers than the average craftworld or maybe even all craftworlds but in their individual discrete deployments I think the craftoworld will on average deploy more heads. Again I could be wrong theirs definitely big dark eldar deployments but I think in general their big raid boys. Either way thank you for commenting and I was glad I could make a video for you and your fellow dark eldar fans as well. Assault on Luetin Hive, was a textbook Dark Eldar raid. First Xenos send Mandrakes, to cut the power and comunications in the Hive. And use terror tactics, in the second phase of the attack, The Shattered Hand Cabal under the command of Archon Vranak, striked from the skies using Venoms, Raiders etc. They were precise and deadly. Sometimes raid can be overseen by a Dracon. Just like operation on Perdus Skylla, Dracon Alith Drazjaer, from the Black Heart Kabal, striked, imperial colony, during full scale tyranid invasion. It was a very bold and cuning strategy.
@@Daimon-X yep that’s pretty much the idea just roll over the defenses and barely even fight cause you can just kill every part of command and control. It’s a rough strat to fight against especially if it’s done with the right level of skill
Since Drukhari are fighting in an unfair manner, wouldn't they know how to counter such tactics (gurella/using human carrot) and counter them by not taking baits and using long range heavy weapons to lower the enemy numbers?
@@eiric6958 well that is a good question my answer would be how used would they be to countering those tactics first off. Remember this is a unique situation because of the Inqusition who know how to counter them. Even the dark eldar who might be doing a hundred raids when something changes it’s unlikely that every dark eldar on a dime will be able to totally change their whole strategy. Secondly countering guerrilla warfare with long range isn’t an effective counter. Concealment is one of the main functions of the strategy and furthermore I don’t think the dark eldar can achieve their victory goals without at least trying to capture civilians. So yes theirs ways that they can fight it and it’s not a fool proof strategy but they will have to totally switch gears and slow down their original victory goal in order to avoid the goal of the defense which is attrition. See if they stop taking baits you switch gears and start putting people in larger groups, if you keep getting hit at long range you aren’t well concealed enough. It’s a big part of this strategy that both sides are smart and will be working around one another with deaths and mess ups on both sides. The only difference is that the dark eldar need to maintain that 10:1 kdr in order to keep up with operations. Theirs a lot too it and if im being honest I did leave out a couple more steps to that strategy but thank you for letting me address it here. I appreciate it as usual
@ yep that 10:1 is their goal of their actually fighting. What they would prefer however is to get like a 30:1 kdr by just not fighting the silly humans and killing their leadership or demoralizing 90% of the enemy force before the mass human removal begins. It’s a cool way if war and it had such a high success rate in my mind I had to add in the inquisition so that it wasn’t just a video of me saying “well theirs really no way to counter this if you don’t see it coming” and I couldn’t justify the dark eldar picking a planet to raid that had like guard forces or huge AA defense on it lol cause their not stupid and their not here for production or conquest just people. so to boil it down to a single sentence: be like the Mujahideen just with extra buckshot lol... i could see the Imperium getting real dirty tbh with sticks in the carrots like not just using civvies as bait with a few PDF mixed in but straight-up booby-trapping ppl with implanted explosives or some kind of biological agent, certainly wouldnt be a preferred strategy but most worlds won't have an inquisitor and deathwatch to help coordinate the defence so things would usually be a lot more desperate than this scenario... definitely avoid melee, if youre a feudal world getting raided by the Drukhies then you're pretty much out of luck, the only way i can see a pike square beating Kabalite Warriors with splinter rifles is if you've completely cornered them and bring along more bodies than they have ammo to shoot and stamina to beat in melee, otherwise they'll just gun down entire rows at a time and withdraw before they can be threatened... never a good idea to go melee against dudes crazy enough to put as many spikes on the insides of their armour as the outsides lmao... excellent videos man your upload tempo is crazy, hope you stay safe and have an awesome week make sure to stay hydrated lol
@@trippyulyanov2012 first off thank you I appreciate it and yeah the muj are a good inspo for what to do. I was kinda doing the pike thing as a meme but the sledgehammer idea was not. @@hydragonsbreath3418 hammers would definitely work better than spears or halbards, it would certainly make them regret some armour design choices (internal spikes and hooks just add extra cutting damage to the crushing damage, silly bdsm elves!) but it still runs into the minor issue of having to beat their reflexes, so you would still want a big formation lots of buddies to distract them with.... musketeers or maybe even slingers could do a kind of pseudo-suppression thing like they certainly won't penetrate their carapace but it'll definitely be a distraction maybe cause a few concussions, but it only works while the hammer-men are closing from another angle it's useless once the hammer-men have engaged in melee... i reckon best way to give em the bonk is weaponising terrain, like lure them into a mountain pass and drop rocks on them, lure them into a tunnel or building and demolish it on top of them, carapace doesn't protect against being buried alive lol...looking forward to see whats next man, thank you again!
