Nice walk through. Thank you. Looking forward to using trace for the first time this weekend.

That was very useful and many thanks. However seeing for many of us who have bought Origin and the various accessories live in the UK and mainland Europe there is a problem. In the UK this goes out at midnight, way after my bed time. Do you think you could run this earlier in the day so that we can ask questions and watch the sessions live, rather than having to get it cold two days later?

Wow, a demo of Studio! You really want me to try Studio, don’t you. This preview is nice, but holy smokes, I didn’t know you have SVG clip-art ready to import in Studio with such ease. Why don’t you lead with that? I may be an expert in design but my friends and family are not, and had I known that Studio had clip-art, I would have jumped on it long ago merely because I recognize that if I can become knowledgeable about something that is easy to use, I can unburden myself from requests funneling-in from friends/family by making them self-sufficient. Also, I would probably find myself using the clip-art in a pinch quite often. Love ❤

How do you do a larger format like a 12x 24 or larger? Or is Tracer not really applicable for larger formats?

I traced a 30 yr old rocking horse head made by my father In law. The line had a gap in it keeping the outline from one continuous line. I tried multiple times and same issue. Is there some way to fix the lines from tracing it once it’s into trace app?

Can the router cut a long 8 foot piece…like from 8’ by 4’ plywood piece. ?

Yes. I have an 8’ sheet of ply with 8 miter slots running parallel with one another adjacent to a cut-out for a router. Love this machine.

Nice session, thanks guys. One thing I noticed is that SO treated the finger cutout and the plane profile separately (when pocketing) even when you had combined them with shape shifter, how come?

Great video on ToolsToday YT channel of them routing a 12’ long walnut board, making a sign

Funny enough, it never occurred to me to check this had an app for iPhone or android. It does not. It’s mildly inconvenient but doesn’t change the fact that it’s an excellent tool.

Both Trace and Studio work with both phone and tablet, but it's a webapp so there isn't a dedicated app to download. You can access Studio and Trace using the browser on your device!

Sorry I love your stuff but shaper trace is simply boring… this can be done for free with free apps… update the shaper with new features like 3d carving, and on the edge of ok for shaper plate but trace is a joke…

@@ajs2021 Apples normal document scanner on iPhone corrects skewing . So simply use a sheet of paper, make document and use one of the endless tools which can convert images into vectors. You know the size of a sheet of paper so even the scaling is a matter of seconds…
