If I want my lights to be on whenever the vehicle is on or if the headlights are on, by tapping an ignition or headlight wire, is the toggle necessary? Are there preset colors that can be selected without the use of the app, ie hit the toggle and it switches between colors with one option being off? The ability to chose between 16.7 million colors is great and all, but I don’t necessarily want to rely on a wireless connection if I’m realistically only going to choose between 12 or so colors.
If we don’t want to tap into the cigarette lighter circuit, can we tap into a 10A accessory power fuse for power instead? On a WRX this seems like a more convenient install since the fusebox is easily accessible under the dash (versus taking off a panel)
Can these be spliced into something other than the cigarette lighter, such as to door/dome lights so that they automatically come on when the doors are open on the car?
@@Ionbilly I apologize for the misinformation. You can connect your music via Bluetooth and use our app at the same time. However, you cannot use the microphone on our app while you are also playing music via Bluetooth.
Hi there! You shouldn't need to add a fuse to run these lights. However, we're sure you could if you could, but it would require some additional wiring!
Hi there. In my 2023 civic si there’s no cigarette lighter. And I hear USB is only 5V. How would I go about installing this kit ?
You can tap into any 12v source that you see fit!

This kit specifically requires our RGBW Bluetooth Controller for operation. Sorry about that!
do you guys have a tutorial for a 2018 subaru wrx or instructions?
Unfortunately, we do not. Since these are universal, the install will be similar for most vehicles.

Yes, they can run off of other locations, as long as it is a 12V power source!
Did you tap both red and black wire on the same wire?
Hey Zach! When splicing into the cigarette wiring, red goes to red and black goes to black. So, they will each be on different wires.
Will the adhesive hold in high heat conditions? Ie. hot summer or heater blowing hot during the winter?
The 3M adhesive backing should hold, but as you can see in the video, we use a couple of zip ties for some added security!
Can I splice the cigarette lighter wires this way for a dashcam?
Most likely! We would guess it depends on the dashcam.
If I use my phon for the led strips can I still use my car's Bluetooth connectivity for phone or audio?
Unfortunately, you cannot connect to our Bluetooth M8 Controller and a Bluetooth audio devise at the same time. Sorry about that!

With the Bluetooth controller whats the point of the toggle switch?
Hi Nick! It is so you can turn on and off the lights.
Can I use an add a fuse?
