With proper raw dialogue (which they have) they could make a excellent AI model, i think i would honor James instead of replacing him. I don't see any other voice actor as max payne.
There are AI tools that allows for people to do actual voice lines with simply changing the voice itself, in other words they can keep an actor who can do lines with emotions and use an AI to alter the sound. It's a possibility yet we will see what Remedy will decide to do.
great thumbnail :D actually I think this is the only issue I'm nervous about remakes... on the one hand, changing the voice could mischaracterize the entire game and the game would lose its essence. On the other hand, they either use the same improved audio, which limits the game (it's not a remaster) or they use AI. If they use AI it will be strange with what happened to James. We will probably associate it with a synthetic sound. I don't know if there will be emotion. let's see what happens. I will trust Remedy's work.
@@PieroMinayaRojas I generated text with chatgpt, recorded myself speeking it and then used eleven labs' speech to speech to make it sound how it is. My own voice is rather high tenor voice while James McCaffrey was bass/low baritone so the end results were not optimal. Also english is my second language so it was quite a challenge to pronounce everything. Text to speech was another option but the result was even more robotic. If there was a sound actor with fluent american english and deep bass voice I think it might actually work quite well and the actual acting performance with emotions and nuances could be transmitted better.
It sounds robotic and as such bears no human resemblance. As a huge James McCaffrey fan, and as much as I would love this to work, it simply doesn't. In my honest opinion, they should give another voice actor a chance.
no emotion😔

That has nothing to do with the voice model though. The uploader probably isn't a native English speaker.
He sounds drunk and weirdly irish lol

Give the role to Kiefer Sutherland.
It's enough for memes but not for story.
Is that fully ai generated or have you used a sound clip and then added the ai voice model to it?
