I love that you guys covered Spanish Moss!! And of course, great video in all! I had been watching videos on Savannah while and ever since I released my last song, Savannah-Hannah. I'm continuing my research now because I'm making this animated music video. Just making sure I really capture Savannah here. So thank you guys for helping me ensure Spanish Moss has a place in my video!!
Once again thank you for the history tour and the info you provided I didn't know some of that. Like I say you're never too old to learn thank you so much for sharing 💞💕💗👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Kansas has an awesome history of its own that many of us were not taught in schooldays. I discovered it as adult in books and movies and was awestruck. I hope CM gets there at some point! We will be stopping there in our RV....
Shoot! Missed the premiere! But enjoyed watching this. I really, really want to get to Georgia one day. Loved learning all about Forrest Gump's bench. Spanish Moss is cool stuff! So pretty. Lots of interesting tidbits!
Thanks for always sharing so much history and facts that aren't that well known. I didn't fully know what spanish moss was, but heard it alot. Great video. 👍
Another great video! Very interesting tidbits. Love the Spanish Moss and stories that go with it. Georgia needs to be on my slow moving bucket list so I can really take it in.
I've watched Forrest Gump countless of times definitely loved that movie... I enjoyed listening to your additional information about the location... I just googled other movies that filmed in Savannah, Georgia and there are actually many others aside from Forrest Gump. Thank you for sharing my friend.

We have never been to Savanna before. The Forrest Gump filming locations is where I would be at for sure. I remember both movies and saw it at the theaters. Surprised they don’t put a bench replica. Missed opportunity. Just love all these film locations. That square seems really fun to visit.
I found it weird too that they didn't keep the bench. Seems so logical. I just got back from Moab. And there are a ton of filming locations there. Hoping to come out with some videos very soon on Moab
What a beautiful and well done video! Very much appreciated. I was in Savannah once when I was 13 (58 now), but have no memory of it. Hoping to do a short mom/daughter visit next month. Love all the history.

Truly amazing video! You really did such a great job with the stories and history and beautiful views of the city and historic sites throughout. I have never watched Midnight but have to now. Thanks for sharing such a great video of what may be my favorite city even though I've only been there a few days. I really wish I could have been there for the premiere, I have so many questions.

Miss Martini 🍸 I loved this episode. I loved both movies “Forest Gump” and “In the Gardens of good and Evil”, which also started our famous actor Jack Thompson. What amazes me is that they did not replace the “Bird Lady” sculpture in the cemetery. The bench should be reinstated. These are the attractions that being people to Savannah, Georgia. I have this city on my list when we visit the USA 🇺🇸 it is beautiful 😻 love the Spanish Moss. You covered this tid bits video extremely well. Mrs Wilks Dining Room is on my list. Forsyth Park looks beautiful. Thank you for the tour and all the tips. Pulaski seems like another prominent figure in Georgia. So much to explore. Oooo he was an Aphrodite, with both genitalia. Beautiful fountain ⛲️ loved this video 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ hope you are both well. Brilliant video. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
I need bird girl in my back yard. Just got to convince my wife. Spanish moss is so pretty in my opinion. You really give great history in all your videos. For quite awhile we had Pulaski Day off in our area.
Great video! My parents took a trip here when I was in college but I never went! My Mom bought a fulls size replica bird girl statue made of concrete when she got home from the trip (she has passed and it now sits in my backyard) but she also bought one of those replicas you showed in your video that I also have 💖 Thanks for sharing all this! Also, my yard is covered in Spanish Moss, I like the name Spanish Beard better lol
@@ColoradoMartini The life-size concrete one is really cool, it's not an "official" replica but its really close and she had to have it after the trip :) I love that it sits out there and reminds me of her. I add bird seeds to the hand trays and the birds love it too!
What a nice thing to remember her by. I have a metal stork that was in my mother's yard growing up. And every time I see it it always makes me think of her.
@@ColoradoMartini we were in south east Texas. About 30 miles from the Louisiana border and 15 miles from the Gulf of Mexico. I think where about 10’ above sea level.
The Spanish moss is so cool to see as you never see it in the West. The Forrest Gump scene was so famous that they should just install one in that area. The plantation oak lined view is a great piece of beauty that is hard to match. The Casimir Pulaski story is very interesting and we would love to hear the rest of that story. The fountain is fantastic.
I love the Spanish moss too. I am from the west and have never seen it either. They should have installed a bench. I don't know why they chose not to. So pleased you enjoyed our Savannah video. Thank you so much for watching
