This man can make us all believe he is singing just to us..RIP to one of the best singers I have had the priviledge to be able to listen to in my lifetime..Always missed, forever
He could get more from a band than anyone. Porkchop really backed him well. Buttermilk John Hughey was on fire up on top of that Emmons on this song! Words from my gracious wife who left me, a year ago taking my heart with her into heaven.
@@shannonburns6724 and let's not forget that great big tall bass player. My 2nd cousin Joe Lewis. May they all rest in peace..Joe died 45 years ago today but he will never be forgotten 🙏 😢
@@thomaswhite8585 I mentioned he as a great player and died in a car Conway gave him. May he rest in peace. It bothered Harold when Joe passed. They were exceptional players and a great family tight knitted together. From my Shannon’s notes. My Shannon has been gone 20 months now. Hope Conway and the rest let her sing some with them up there. Her Denny.
My Dad's favorite country singer. I grew up loving that old classic country sound and I miss it so much now. I wish today's country would sound half as good as the old classics like this one.
@BRENDA PAINTERwere spoiled to have access to these gems that were before our time but are on a whole nother level musically conways voice is so powerful i have to say along with this song easy loving with loretta live is fire
This is the Conway era I loved best, the early '70's. I was about 13 at the time and would play this song over and over on the big wooden console stereo we had. I absolutely loved Conway's singing on this song. Thanks so much for all the great classic country memories CT. There will never be another like you. RIP Conway.
I have and always will like Conways songs. And Family Guy helped Conway be recognized in todays day and age .Showing people that THIS isREAL COUNTRY MUSIC not todays shit they are telling us is. Long Live Conway Twitty
I was raised with The Legend ''Conway Twitty's'' material. It a great privelage to share this feeling. He will always be my favorite Country Music artist. His music is genuine. And is no put on! It's sang from the heart. Thank you.
Like I said,I've listened to Conway Twitty now for 17 years almost now,and God bless the day I started to pay more attention to what this man had contributed to country music,or even the mmusic industry period.I didn't just jump on the bandwagon when he died by a longshot either, unlike most of today's Johnny Cash so-called fans.
hey Shomai08 im 15 years old and i LOVE this kind of music its the greatest! Yes its true country!! I want to be the person in my generation to bring this music back
Great to see this fabulous Conway Twitty song. It's also good to see the Twittybirds who are now deceased Joe Lewis, Tommy "Porckchop" Markham, John Hughey. Thanks for posting this video 5 stars *****
Take note you "so called" country music artists of today. This is how you stir a person's soul without bouncing all over the stage in skin tight jeans, super short skirts & pyrotechnics going off. It's all about the song lyrics & the way they are delivered. Conway was a master at choosing high quality songs & then, delivering them to you "personally"!!!!!!!
I was a child when this was poplar and i wish i could have been older to really enjoy it because I like the country from the 70's better than in the 80's
My husband would say this to me every day. As a woman this is such a sexy, loving song and I have to admit I love my husband more than anyone that has come before him..Miss you Conway
Just like my mother use to say. He said everything everyman wish he could say. Love his music every song My parents raised me right on good country music I am glad they are not hear the crap they call country today
Another #1 hit for Conway Twitty on the Country & Western charts. It was the 167th #1 C&W song of the Rock Era. It also hit #2 in Canada. And country music was now getting a lot of exposure with the premiere of Hee Haw on CBS.

Being born in the mid 80s, I don't have many regrets about living in this time and age. But I do feel a little cheated to know I missed the times of REAL artists :/
Maybe Conway acted out all the things in his songs. He died of a heart attack when 54 yrs old if I'm remembering correctly. I think maybe he got worn out with all the work he did or maybe just thinking so much on what he wanted to do to these women. Thank you for sharing. God Bless You, my friend, Gwen

That’s all well and good but there’s nothing wrong with the other stuff. Obviously, many like it and that’s just fine. So many old timers have to knock what others enjoy today.
