Exactly!!! I tried going to the gym for a year back when I was 21, until I couldn't afford it. Then, my son, now being old enough wanted to start going to the gym back in late 2020. So I signed him up. He wanted me to come with him and because the gym allowed you to 'bring a friend.' So, I hesitated, but went with him. I was so embarrassed about people looking at me, not really knowing how things worked.
Going through a few lockdowns and the gym changing its name and rules, I wasn't able to go for free anymore. I realised I really hate going to the gym and I don't want to be with a man who is obsessed with the gym.
I prefer: walks, runs, hiking, rock climbing, abseiling, biking, and a bit of swimming, etc... And try to eat better! Ultimately, I prefer doing "fun" activities that keep you fit like, Putt Putt, tree top climbing...! Though I do love a good sumo deadlift at the gym.

Paul is 💯 on point with the political comment. I was married to a Democrat when I was more conservative / libertarian. He went farther left (with the party) and I went farther right. Being divorced is awful (I was not a Christian when we split, so give me some grace please people), and my advice echos yours Paul. If you are a Democrat in 2023 your fundamental values are not in line with the Bible. It would be an unequal yoking at this point. Marry someone who shares your values.

I always think it's interesting how Christian women are supposed to be vey attractive, sexy, in shape, wear attrative clothes, this ideal fantasy, but don't go over the line so that one is "slutty". There is nothing wrong with saying you want to be attracted to your spouse. I want to be attracted to my spouse. I want someone that is thin and in shape, that feels around my size. I like to be active, go on hikes. And I actually dress pretty modestly, don't feel a need to wear shirts that show off my cleavage and so on, so I actually follow what they outline above pretty well, but it's this wierd tightrope of somehow being sexy is impure, but yet they are saying they want woman to try to be attractive, to put an effort into looking attractive for them. It feels like either way you're doomed to feel shame for either not being attractive enough, or being too attractive and now you've crossed into slutty.

    • @jdemille79
      @jdemille79 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

Being too sexy is usually regarded as not dressing modestly. You can be a 10/10 and not slutty, if you dress modestly just as you can be a slutty 5/10 who is half naked all the time.
Going over the line is 'usually' the line of modesty, not your level of attractiveness.

I liked how both of you went down the road of the political landscape. That is actually a big one for me and a major reason why I find putting myself out there to date, just not worth the bother. Even most proclaiming Christians seem to either have their heads in the sand or side with the current culture on worldview issues. I don't want to commit to submit to a man who has no understanding of what a Biblical Worldview is and why it is important to living out a God fearing life and/or is woke in any way. It seems to be more and more difficult to find Christians that actually know what a Biblical Worldview is and stand firm on it because so much of the pagan thinking of the culture seems to have infiltrated itself into the Church.
As for the "fun" question that you brought up towards the end about movies and boardgames, I would probably say I am more into books but I do enjoy watching and analyzing a good movie of TV show/series.

That’s so interesting the point on a woman who extends forgiveness, grace and mercy. It’s something I used to hate about myself, the fact that I would be so quick to forgive when I had been wronged, literally an apology would make it all go away and I used to feel ashamed about that. It was only until I realised what it looks like for God to conform us to the image of Christ, that it made me fall in love with the fact that God has given me a willing heart to forgive and extend grace. I’m no longer ashamed of that, and grateful that God has trusted me to have that kind of heart posture. 🥹

With fitness being something I don't "love" per se, I've loved engaging in it with my husband. I'm proud when I exercise even when he's working long days / unavailable to do so with me. I have PCOS with hormonal issues. I'm average height and weight, and am active and eat well most of the time. As a generally healthy person, unfortunately I am not super "fit" or at the "weight" I want. Thankfully my husband has been supportive and loving at my current shape and size. He has his own goals and he's not where he wants to be.
TLDR: being active has little to no downsides, but have grace with each other in the process, even when our shape/size don't change quickly.

The examples we see in scripture is the brethren correcting the brethren. The fact that one is part of the same family of God is a great enough bond in of itself. In other words, one need not be close to the person in order to offer rebuke, admonishment, correction, etc. In other words, a Christian can always correct another Christian without being close friends with them. Skipped and listened to around ten minutes in when you guys spoke about parties. Look, they got this in the bag by design. They want you to have that conclusion. They set it up that way. Other party isn't much better when it comes to morality; all lies and greed. They make a false duality so people fight each other over petty things that don't truly matter rather than for what truly matters. I know you guys are plugged into the media because you create content but I invite you to take a step back and realize that the game is rigged and if you pick a side you lose. The overarching thing about all of this is that people change and all of these good characteristics you look for in a wife can look completely different after kids, time, health etc. Not to say don't still seek these things from the start, but also don't expect these characteristics to just be there with a woman consistently through life. A lot of it can come down to how well she handles stress and how easily she is overwhelmed. And that's not something you can typically test out before marriage.

I wouldn’t say my expectations are super high when it comes to other things such as looks and finances- I at least want to be attracted to him of course but most of all want a man who loves the Lord, will be a good leader spiritually and otherwise and cares about truly living as Jesus commands biblically. I want to live as commanded in God’s word. If my husband isn’t more devoted to follow Christ, Isn’t more mature in his faith than me, and can’t/won’t lead the household, then there will be a sort of tug-of-war. Scripture is clear: Do not be unequally yoked, wives submit to their husbands as the church submits to Christ, and husbands love your wives as Christ loved the church and gave His life for her. There is a good, God created order and I want to honor it. 2 Corinthians 6:14-18, Ephesians 5:22-33. There’s so much more scripture on this as well. 1 Peter 3, Colossians 3, Titus 2, 1 Corinthians 7. And more. I grew up in a household with a “Christian Dad” but not a Godly husband/father who leads his family spiritually/in God’s word/to follow Christ. I love and appreciate my dad and he loves us and provided for us, but that isn’t what I want for my children or myself.

I just want to say that I feel like you guys have gotten into some weird territory with your videos recently. Like so many of them are about sex to the point that it’s getting weird. And the one coming out today, should maverick city have performed at the Grammys because of the satanic nature of the other performances… it just seems like very surface level topics. You guys do a lot of good but I miss your more in depth videos where you offer more in depth advice on how to be a Christian in our world. How to share Christ with others etc. just my opinion and I’m sure I’ll get hate if anyone even sees this.

This is the first time that I'm watching you all's video and I think this is great I am a female and I have always been a Democrat kind of sort of I've never put myself in one political side per say because I've always had some conservatism and a little bit of liberalism if you want to call it that however I totally agree with you all I have my husband and we are happy and my family and I however if I was on the dating scene in this day and age I would definitely not look for a man that is a Democrat and definitely would not get with a man who is Democrat on political views. Thank you for video.

Hey guys! I greatly appreciate your videos! But I want to respectfully disagree with you about the whole political democrat thing.
I believe people are more similar than they are different. Ultimately both democrats and republicans both desire for there to be a better America. We just have different ideas of how we should get there and what problems should be considered priority.
I personally know couples with great marriages who joke that when they vote they cancel each other out. Their political views do not affect them living their day to day lives.
Where this DOES affect marriage/relationships is when a Christian ties their identity to their political party. I think this is perhaps what Paul was trying to say (talking about not being a radical democrat or being open to other things). The danger is this can go both ways.
I've dated a man who was far right leaning, thought trump was going to save America from the deep state, was constantly consuming conservative news channels, believed in q anon and that world war 3 was coming and constantly misquoting revelations.
I also dated a Christian who was very left leaning. When we talked about Jesus it was as if he only saw Him as a social justice warrior for the people. When in reality when we read the Bible we see that while Jesus greatly cared about injustice, his ultimate purpose of him coming was to save us from our sins.
I think both of these polarizing views can be harmful if you claim it as your identity instead of having Christ be your identity. However most people politically fall in the middle of the spectrum. We just assume that everyone is polarized since we only hear those ppl on the internet.

You are everything that I would ever want in a man. You are so handsome too! I wish I could clone you because when I do desire to have a relationship again, I want someone just like you. I so appreciate my husband treating me the way he does, having a husband who loves the Lord is amazing! I would say to women marry someone who loves God, is kind and compassionate to others, that was what made me fall in love with my husband. His truly kind nature, and marry a hard worker.

I dont think its true. I worked as a make up artist for models so I have friends who are very hot.
I also have friends from childhood or other places who are not " hot".
Many of my " not hot" friends have found a guy and had kids and mamy of my model friends didn't.
If this rule was true, all my model friends would be married with kids, and my normal friends would not.
      But its not the case.

The models were probably just really picky and didn’t want to settle down. It’s harder to choose when one has the pick of the litter.

      @YFL.111 ปีที่แล้ว

@@LoveHope-mi4lx sorry I don't know what " pick of the liter" means, english isnt my mothertongue
I don't think they were picky I think its deeper than that.
For instance, if a woman had a great father, she will probably choose a great man too, and have way more chances to be in a happy relationship earlier in life.
If a superhot model had some family issues ( abusive father or mother) she is more likely to choose guys who would abuse her in the same way too.
I am not saying that if you are ugly you find a husband quicker.
I am saying the psicological paterns somebody has, as well as many other things, determen if you are gonna be able to have a happy relationship or not.
Same happen with man. There are many rich super handsome man who can't find a relationship even if they have a lot of qualities as a human being.
It's more.complex than looks believe me.
Otherwise all hot people in the world would immediatly be happy and not single.
And as somebody who works and knows a lot of hot people, I can tell you it's not the case.
I also have seen models who literally sleep with anyone, and are not picky at all, because they dont have selfsteem as a person.
Again, selfsteem plays a big role too on finding a partner.

Idk what that nonsense about abortion was but it sounds you've been misinformed, there is no such thing as "abortion after birth", but then again I have noticed most people staunchly "pro-life" have very poor understanding of that whole thing and even often think that late term abortions are something common and easily handed out to anyone for whatever reason.

@@nba2kmadness162 hi. If you were to cite places where the Bible in general, or Jesus in particular, spoke or acted in a way to communicate the importance of feeding the hungry, caring for prisoners, and creating a just and equitable society, it would take you weeks. If you were to cite where abortion is mentioned, you'd be done within seconds. I really like Paul & Morgan, but unfortunately I find that they've mostly fallen into the trap that many professing Christians have fallen into over the last 30-40 years, which is to mistake Republicanism for Christianity.
