Great job and thank you for making the video!
One thing though, you put his jump pack on backwards the ladder is supposed to be on the outside it shows in the instructions to have the ladder away from the body.

Great Vid man! Would love to see you do this with more Tau units. I.E. Riptides, stormsurges, fire warriors.

nice job, can't wait to see your paint job. On a side note, I used 1.5 mm magnets and managed to hide them entirely inside of the base.

Games Workshop should sell their license to Bandai so we can have fully colored and fully articulated Tau models at half the price.

What size magnets do you use? I have a couple 2x1mm neo magnets and was wondering if they are strong enough for that

Might work, I use 3x1 and they hold weapons fine.

I got a ghostkeel and I've been wanting to magnetise it, do you have a list of the magnet sizes you used by any chance?

I just built my own and used 1mm X 3mm magnets.
if you have a strength problem you can always stack and use more that 2 magnets

The shoulderpads aren't quite right. The intention is to get the paralell extended lines onto the medial flexion of the shoulder pad, so that it sort of floats at the top and bottom.

+Beaudism I agree. When I assembled this one, I was looking for a way for the pieces to be snug and stable, and that's what I ended up with. However, I realized that it was a bit off once it was complete.

Great video! I'm just assembling my first 40k army (Tau), and am in the process of purchasing magnets to magnetize. I tried searching your channel to see what size magnets you used for this guy because you said you used the same for your crisis suits, but couldn't find the video. What size magnets do you use for your ghostkeel/crisis suits? I currently have 1/16" x 1/32" magnets and 3 mm x 1 mm magnets.
    Thanks!

Super new to warhammer, haven’t even built a proper model yet, but I was wondering where you get magnets for this and what type of drill you use? (Hand-held vs drill press. I don’t particularly care for the brand, lol.)

Magnet baron is a sponsor of this channel and a great source! They even have suggested magnet bundles for different models etc. you can use my discount code for 10% off too!
