It's called concept. The Korean version of this song talks about being humble and being rich as long as you work hard. This is the main concept of their album "Regular-Irregular"
Actually the company doesn't decide who gets which lines, it's up to the producers of the song. They put who suits more to beat. I also thought the company overworked Mark a lot but he said he likes doing that (being part of other NCT units, he's indeed hard-working) About the line distribution I do agree that the other members deserve more line. And the choreo wasn't shown much in the english version but in the korean one it was. Or you guys could check their dance practice video.
Well.. this year is the last year for Mark to be in NCT Dream.. 🤣
You need to check out their dance practices in the Halloween Costumes..
Mark and Taeyong also write most of NCT songs so they're expected to get more lines. I think Yuta and Winwin would carry on the vibe of song well if they were gotten more lines. As for Johnny, he could get a bit more since the song is in english and he's a native speaker but his rapping wouldn't suit much the genre of this song cuz he raps as if he's talking (you can see that Cherry Bomb suited him more). Nonetheless I appreciate your sincerity. I hope you also check the korean version of the song cuz he music video is a lil different and their dance practice video (maybe the Halloween version?) Lol 😁
