5:30 Neat trick to make yourself free money especially as a new player - always have your dscan up, and just regularly ping it. *If you see drones but no ship* stop long enough to directional scan nearby asteroid fields. I've picked up augmented drones, tech 2 drones, mining drones, etc. etc. because people forget drones all the time, and if people aren't on grid with their drones the drones are free game to be scooped to your cargo with no repercussions.
What do you do about those unavoidable low sec spots in between empires where they attack anyone coming through? Most of my deaths are in those spots where i die before i can even see that I've dropped out of warp. I'm not sure how they do that, but it really takes the fun out of the game. No lock time, doesn't matter if i warp to zero and jump, im dead before i get out of warp, as far as i can tell.
.. I'm kinda back to the game, half hearted.. Bought omega with old physical asset sales, got maybe a week left.. Thank goodness my potato computer is still semi ok. .. swear I have a question to ask.. ..I was thinking of retrieving a bs from tri captured space ..meh.. oor trying faction warfare finally, but I think I would need to move my junk out of.. dodixi for one, I think? ..null, yeah there's that, if I had an in road my character is mostly industry, I've tons of maxed bpos.. never did get a handle on how(where?) to sell the copies. Eh anyway, I think I should have kept the near 3bils 😆 .. I didn't do much, been busy. Got pi going... made it interesting on myself.. nuf said. Thanks. 👍
BPCs are sold via contracts only, you can make them public. Dodi, Jita, Amarr or markets near industry hubs are a good place to sell them, but pretty much anywhere really
biggest tip ever? dont waste your time on this trash game. Want to mine? better log in the ONE day the server resets, so you can get ganked in the 2 hour time window to mine anything valuable. so you get ganked since they force everyone to make a mad rush for the few valuables, meaning its just a ringing dinner bell for pirates and other gankers. then after those couple of hours of being shat upon, dont log in til the reset again since everything is already mined up, and essentially the world is dead, as once the miners have nothing left to mine, the gankers have no one left to gank, the protectors no one to protect, etc. the game used to be good, like 15 years ago. dunno what they changed between now and then, but coming back to the game late last year was a HUGE let down due to the issues i stated. and the in game community is absolute dogshit about everything. avoid wasting your time with this game, and avoid dealing with the morons that play it.

I often watch videos on 2x speed and your intro made me check and make sure I wasn't accidentally on 2x speed.

Also the rule nro 1 in EVE also applies to high sec. Don't undock anything you can't afford to lose.
I wish I knew all of this when I was starting out. Maybe try a part II with intermediate tips (suspect baiting, basic scams, etc.)

Question when you D scan does it alert other players that you activated D scan? Or is D scan more covert than that?
No but your probe launcher will show other d scanners your probes if within range
