Completely agree with you. Getting a partner is not the only way to tell a story. Sometimes life just happens in the middle of the road to that HEA with your partner by your side. Sometimes the troubles aren’t even the couple, but the situations that happen around them. To me that’s so interesting to read as well.
All your faves were ❤️!! Loved The Dominant Bastard's duology! The 3 mc developed such a great relationship over the course of the story. And in the Grip trilogy the 3rd book is probably the best book I've read about a married couple and how they overcome obstacles together.
Feral King sounds like I might need to add it to my TBR. I'm always looking for good MFM or MMF. One of my favorite series that follows a couple is The Others series by Anne Bishop. So good, it's very slow burn, but the series is amazing. Alpha and Omega series by Patricia Briggs is another favorite of mine. Charles and Anna are one of my favorite book couples only surpassed by Meg and Simon (The Others). Most of Ilona Andrews series follows one couple and they're All excellent. (Kate Daniels, Hidden Legacy, Inn Keeper Chronicles, Blood Heir, Iron and Magic- Hugh's series). Rina Kent and JM Darhower were Not for me. The mafia element felt watered down to me. There was a lot more "telling than showing" if you know what I mean. I need my Mafia guy to be hard core like Mateo Morelli. 😍 For mafia that follows the same couple, I like Kenya Wright's Lion and the Mouse series and Sam Mariano's Morelli Family series. 🔥 I must confess I like the 5 Points series, but I did Not care for The Don-in fact, I ended up DNF'ing it. 😔 You had me at Sci-fi Alien romance- I'm in. Definitely adding Ensnared to my immediate TBR-like purchasing after your video immediate. It's very hard to find series like this, and I'm such a series girl. 👽🕷❤That's a big part of why I heavily favor urban fantasy as a lot of those tend to follow 1 couple and why contemporary romance is usually a hard sell for me. I need the relationship development otherwise it's just not believable to me, and I don't care if they're together or not which leads to me not caring whether I finish the book or Not. Then it gets DNF'd. It's a vicious cycle. 😂
I also have read some Rina Kent, and many of my friends love her, but I haven't been too impressed yet. I might need to try out Reign of a King. I also am really intrigued about that Karina Halle, I have adored her contemporaries. I had no idea she was going through stuff, so now I am going to buy those books physically and digitally. Its so rare to find any books with either of my names in romances haha I will be reading that Tiffany Roberts, but just waiting on the third book before starting it because I trust you. :) If you are looking for some historical's with the same couple, the Outlaw Hearts series by Rosanne Bittner is my favorite. I also love the Angel's Guild series where half the series feature the same couple, The K Webster Cinderella trilogy was superb, and many of the Meghan March's trilogies feature the same couple, and then there is that Dark In You series by Suzanne Wright (read THOSE!! Amazing, they are my favorite books from her actually)
I think we can crown the In Death series by JDRobb aka Nora Roberts as the record breaking, unbeatable winner of series with the same couple. There are 63 of them now. I kept up with the series until we were in the mid thirties. But then they started coming out in Hardcover and I couldn’t afford them anymore. Plus she was focusing less on the romance between Eve and Roarke and more on the suspense. But I still highly, highly recommend them, at least the first 10 or so.

Hello Jenn.. I really liked reading Feral King and Tragic King they were good books. I wish they wrote more of those books.
