I loved the whole subtext about mindless consumerism and vanity.
The villains, the school and the girls, no one can escape their greed and vanity but Jerry.
Being British gave you some degree of protection back then, not so much now.
Straight dudes watched this during their youth and not tell a single soul

I watched Winx Club as well. It's not like there were that many options back then. Now kids have endless options with the internet. I had maybe 2-3 channels in total.
this show has actual lore??? going to feed my 10 year old self and rewatch before finishing the next 18 minutes of this video. I'LL BE BACK

In the two thousand girl cartoons used to be about them fighting bad guys. For example, winx Club and W.h.i.c.h. The winx Club is doing a reboot. Maybe the reboot will make shows like that popular again

Okay, apparently i haven't watched the first season(s) because I do remember whar you mentioned only from minute 9, i think, and also all the mothers/Mendi spy episodes are so unfamiliar for me (and if it was in s5 so I feel weird because I did watched it all a few years ago, haha) plus the second half of the "twin drama" sounds familiar but can't remember any of it.🤔

The first minutes are from the movie actually! Which was made later, but is about how it all started for the girls. The series begins when they aready are spies.
I've watched a lot of your videos. Your narration is good, but there's a lot of plot holes because of how you cut out certain information. For example: why was tad arrested at the very beginning? You mentioned nothing about him nor what happened to him. The show is about the girls, sure, but other characters are part of the story too. Don't create loop holes but not providing enough info on some side characters. You do this in your other videos as well.

no mention of the three guys they connect with I don't remember which season and I think they end up being spice as well. Also apparently the show is coming back for another season but the original cast was never told anything about it and they are recasting them .
The entire backstory movie was a mess. because the office a wrong. They didn't get the upgraded powder phone there could change their clothes before in a later season. the pig did they bring back in last season which made no sense.
