St Catherine family grateful for support after hardships were highlighted

MARCH 4, 2022: Moved by the great need expressed by the struggling Tucker family in Springfield district, Guys Hill, St Catherine, scores of Jamaicans, including famous faces, rushed to provide support on Ash Wednesday.
The Tuckers went viral this week due to a documentary-style TH-cam video by Street Driven.tv where 17-year-old Delano Tucker explained the extent of his family’s financial difficulties and how that has affected the family of four.
When THE STAR visited the Tucker residence, there was a massive crowd of persons, some bringing groceries and other essentials, while others were cleaning the home and assembling material to improve the structure.

This child is a genius. Even the way he drew attention to his plight using modern day technology,that alone says to me that I WILL LEAVE NO STONES UNTURNED , I must and I will transcend above my current situation , I was created for a greater purpose than my current circumstances. I salute this young brother.

i'm not trying to bring anyone down but it was the teacher's idea for him to tell his story to get help.
When the struggle is Real, Everyone should take notice. In my day, it was usually Teacher's who would kindly bring attention to the Less fortunate students. However the young man seems quite soft spoken. And intelligent, articulate, and Godly. He listen to his teacher, and followed her suggestions. He mentioned that he was in CHURCH and had not seen the video. At my Church we set aside funds, food, clothing for ARMS. Is this not done in Jamaica? Surly someone in the church could see the desperate need of this family.
