When Jermaine Scott told two divers who rescued him from the Rio Cobre after his car fell off Flat Bridge, that he would return to show his gratitude, they brushed aside his promise. They have heard similar pronouncements but have never seen them materalised. However, Scott, 28, along with some members of his family, surprised the unsung heroes with a token, thanked them for their service.

We sometimes don't believe in the Supreme Being but he is ever present. It was very evident on that day.
I applaud the family for returning to show gratitude.

The authorities need to fix that pot hole obviously that’s what caused damages to the wheel and the car ending up in the water .... Thanks to those divers they are like angels in time of needs

What 🤣😂 a saviour? I travelled on that bridge so many times when l went Jamaica for a visit . God is ever there in times of trouble. Glory be to God in the highest. It wasn't your home time. Blessed assurance Jesus is mine and you too.

The danger lies when one can’t swim they go in panic mood, so rescuers has to be extremely careful especially as folks anxiety sets in...great work young men🙏🏿❤️

I'm always baffled of the fact that people can be saved by someone and never returned to express their thankfulness to them. Happy this man had the kind of heart that brought him to show appreciation. The mother is an amazing woman as well.

Just the other day I was speaking with my friend saying I will never drive over flat bridge no matter how much it costs me to take the toll road I will never drive could you imagine if I was in his situation my lord thank God for those rescuers God shall repay them with much blessings
Gov need to give the guys a boat and life guard jackets to do there job and start pay the people

This survivor indeed is a motivation. Cant believe he is the only one that has returned to say thanks. In spite of the ingratitude these men continue to risk their lives to save others. God just sent them on the spot in time
