When you go to the the SuperValue shopping plaza in Manor Park section of Kingston you will see one of the most beautiful views of the mountains that surround 3 sides of the city. You can go up to the top floor for the best views. Also the most beautiful areas are up there. There are some lookouts up there where you can see all the way to the sea. Ask your vber driver to take you to one of the popular lookout points in the hills of the city.

Go to Hope Gardens too in Kingston. You can bring food to eat there or purchase at the restaurant but it's expensive. When you are in Montego Bay go to Harmony Park. You will love it too

Has a Jamaican of Indian origin who is often overlooked,I would love if you could come to one of our communities and learn about our history. We were the first set of fishermen, first set of merchants in Jamaica yet sometimes we are made to feel like a Jamaica's little secret.

If you'll be spending the weekend in Kingston, you might want to check out some of these suggestions. Most are free a few charge fees. Kingston Harbour Cruise, Sunday Beach Cruise, Redbones Blues Café, Kingston Dub Club, Usain Bolt's Tracks and Records, Jonkanoo Lounge, Privilege , The Olympia Art Centre, Jamaica National Gallery, etc. See and live Kingston as a local.

Make sure you are mixing up the different place places like Jankanoo Lounge, Redbones Blue Cafe, Kingston Dub Club are all in the parish of St Andrew, Kingston 6 is only use for Post Offices purposes and Usain Bolt’s Tracks and Records has two locations one in St Andrew that Kingston 10 Constant Springs Road and the other is in Montego Bay. This is just to help other people know the difference not to bash you so I hope don’t take my comment personally. One Love to people of the Islands 🏝️🇯🇲in our Caribbean Sea 🌊

Nice. Check out Hope Gardens (HOPE Gardens is extremely beautiful and very luscious and green, and it has a history), the University of the West Indies, Mona campus, and Manor Park, Liguanea, Barbican, etc. next. Then you can visit communities like Norbrook, Cherry Gardens, Red Hills, Queen Hill, Beverly Hills, Chancery Hall, Stony Hill, etc. next

Jamaica may be a relatively small country, but Jamaica has many faces. Yet many people go out of their way to push a very narrow narrative about the country. One popular false narrative is that JA is one big slum, except for the resorts where the tourists say. Many African countries get that treatment too so it's nice to see a Kenyan Tigress dispelling it. Cool to see you run into Salvadorean/American tourists too, who were also casually exploring the park. (BTW, on the topic of anthems ... love Kenya's!)

Jamaica is the 3rd largest Caribbean island. Jamaica is not small when you compare it to other islands. Curacao, Bonaire, Turks, St Maarten, Anguilla, Antigua all have less than 100k people living there. Barbados only have 200k people living on the island. All of these island with less people are doing better financially than Jamaica. Aruba have zero potholes, free college education for all high school graduates yet they only have 100k population.

YT is eating some posts! The one I put up last night here on the top level is gone!
At 22:24 you pointed out The Courtleigh-- that's where I stayed last May for the Kingston leg of my visit home. I also did take a walk down to Emancipation Park and saw it for the first time (it was developed after I left Ja).
I must commend you for the self confidence you always show when a 'suitor' tries to take you on. You don't chase them away but you're clearly merely only humoured. I got a kick out of Keea repeating the MoBay guy's words "dagger dagger de ting" when you were in Negril. That Bajan gyal cracks me up!
