I don’t know why you net these Coho. Way easier to just grab the leader, check for a fin and yank them in the boat. If it has a fin use the gaff to shake them off at the side of the boat. Puts way less stress on the wild ones and saves time getting your gear back in the water quickly.
I can see why Phill lost so many fish. He throws tons of slack line at the fish. He needs to hold the rod steady and reel into and through the weight of the flasher. With barbless hooks, slack is a killer. You guys look like you're having a great time. Congrats on the hookups.
Pretty amazing filming a guy that's still fishing after catching his limit. I guess these guys don't read the regulations that once you've retained your limit you are suppose to stop fishing.
I really enjoyed seeing the crew in real life! Thanks for adding my report to your video.
@@Pnwcertified thanks Harold, hope to see you again!
I miss fishing that area. I grew up going to Snow Creek campground in Neah bay.
@@Mr_CGS love that campground!
What a trip, well done fellas.
Thank you. Truly, it was our backup plan if the ocean was too rough.
@@my-back-yard A back up plan, too the original plan is always
a good plan to have.
Oh, and someone onboard named Phil can't hurt.
Great catch guys
