The problem appears to be with the purge valve being faulty. The vibrating sound with these capless systems is caused by vacuum trying to pull air from a source it normally can't pull from. Occasionally this can throw a check engine code
Easy fix, white pipe usually stored by or around your spare tyre. Take that and stick it in and the air will release and the noise will stop. You also need to get to a garage because your intake manifold vacuum causes air to be drawn into the fuel tank in a throttled flow. It's not meant to be doing it. It's dangerous to drive your car, the dangers of having your car stall while driving, a vacuum leak can cause severe damage to your engine's internals as well.

Correct! I had this in my 2015 linoln mkc. Throws a P1450 code. I replaced the vapor cannister and vent valve below the fuel tank, but it didn't stop. So am taking it in to replace the only other thing it could be: Evaporative Emissions Purge Solenoid Valve on top of the engine (includes evap emissions tubing harness).
@@latresha51 my husband changed the purge valve on mine and it stopped and fixed the rotten egg smelling exhaust, the noise, the "missing" I thought I had which wasn't true missing it was that purge valve that was bad, girl find you someone that can check that purge valve out and see if that's it! And if you gotta take your car to a mechanic don't let them take advantage of you because you're a woman, many try to take advantage of folks that aren't mechanically inclined and it's sickening!
Lol like I said there’s a sensor in the fuel filler neck on capless fuel tanks. If the sensor goes out the suction stops working properly and causes this sound. You need to replace the fuel filler neck

The lip is not closing property, push the lip open and clean around it I had the same issue with my 2014

More likely the Evaporative Emissions Purge Solenoid Valve on top of the engine. That's what mine needed. The cannister valve didn't fix it.
