Looks good, I’ll have to try it. The thing you thought was chutney, the menu says was green tomato chow chow, whatever that is. The mixed pepper was actually everything bagel seasoning. They looked very good. Love your reviews, they make me drive a little farther from home to try something interesting.

I would do more but I have a budget. I don’t ever get free food. It wouldn’t be an honest review if my food was different than what you would get when you go.

that biscuits and gravy looked next level. i just love the idea where that is the appetizer when it usually knocks normal humans out cold after eating.

So, i tried this place last Saturday and had to try the Royale with cheese (obvious reasons). When i pulled up i realized that i actually did a lot of the framing and drywall in that place. I would lug my tools out there on a bus and i would hit up that Jersey Mikes every payday before getting on that long bus ride home. But, that Royale with cheese was freakin amazing. No long bus ride this time lol.

That 5 lb biscuits and gravy "appetizer🤔" looked amazing.
I could make a whole meal out of that cornbread and butter.
Not sure about those pretentious deviled eggs and burger but you said they were "top notch" and I always believe you.
The best deviled eggs I ever had. Burger was good but I’ll order something different next time.
The "green" stuff is actually "chow chow relish" which is an old school Southern condiment. Very blue collar. That's why you like it lol. It's amazing!

Nice review. Food looks great. Really nice ambiance, but I've heard there's nothing to really catch the noise ( a pet peeve of ours). I'm sure that's not a factor for most. We're just pills.😁

Not much of a breakfast person. In my opinion, I thought it loaf of corn bread was burnt for my liking.

The most uncommon food that I tried was muskrat with hominy and gravy, collard greens. Only available in January and orders taken before dining because when their gone, there gone.
One time was enough .
Daughter slid towards the wall in her booth. We started out looking at each other and conversing until muskrat appeared! Lol😂😂😂😮
@@CindyYr11 the cornbread was. It burnt. It was the lighting. The burger was good but not my top five. I prefer old school burgers. No yuppie burgers. Heading to the state fair tomorrow for a food extravaganza.

Just a suggestion you should fan out future than just Louisville to more Kentucky cities restaurants jus sayin there’s more to Kentucky than Louisville!
I have been lately. Bardstown, Mt. Washington, Campbellsville, Bagdad, Shelbyville, Smithfield, Hodgenville, Horse Cave, LaGrange. But I’ll definitely be expanding my territory out more often in the near future.

@@goodallscountrykitchen just twenty to say thanks for putting your show out there. I had esophageal cancer and can no longer eat or drink. So watching your show is as close as I can get to going out to a restaurant and eating. My nutrition comes in the form of a formula, kinda like ensure, that I put into my feeding tube. Thanks again for doing what you do. You have more of an impact in some peoples lives than you think. Same goes for all your guests too. When I don't feel like getting up and getting everything together for my nutrition, I usually start watching your videos and one or two videos in, my stomach is rumbling and I'm motivated to get everything together. Best of luck with your channel. I'll be watching.

Funny, but a lot of people butcher that word. And I according to the menu it was "Everything Crumbs" as in everything bagel seasoning. Also not bean sprouts but "Microgreens" & not mango salsa but "Green Tomato Chow Chow" relish. Thanks for showing & tasting the biscuits & gravy before covering with your hot sauce & ketchup & much appreciated when you show receipt.@@goodallscountrykitchen

Next time I go I’m getting the same order minus the burger and replacing it with another item. It was good but I don’t prefer Yuppie Burgers. It’s against my code of ethics.
@@goodallscountrykitchen back in the day in Lively Shively catsup was referred to as Kentucky Steak Sauce. Saw a guy put it on a ribeye at Cliff Hagens Ribeye on Dixie Hwy, and the moniker was born.
