@@jeannettelazzo7902 Vaginismus is caused by many factors, with sexual abuse being the least common. For further discussion, please contact us directly at doctors@womentc.com

Thank you so much for sharing your story, Alice ! The religious Christian household related a lot to me and what your mother said growing up as well. Your story resonates with me 🫶🏾 I also grew up with the comments from my mom and dad saying if a boy touch you’ll get pregnant.

I just got diagnosed today at 49! Been married for 30 years. Estrogen a little low but not menopausal. This was never a problem and it came on fast. Assumed it was my fibroids. I had never heard of this before. He’s prescribing some estrogen and I’ve got to get the dialators. Felt like someone stabbed my lady area with a butcher knife. Those look so comfortable. 😂😢

I am really at that breaking point. I am married and I have Vaginismus. I got pregnant without penetration and I thought pushing my baby out with epidural could help to open my vagina and I might be able to have sex. I could not do any pap smear all through my pregnancy and when I was about to deliver my baby, I got epidural before any check and luckily I had a very smooth delivery couple with tear and hemorrhoid. Fast forward to 2years after that, no penetration. My husband and I just do whatever. I NEED HELP! I don’t know how expensive this can be

So how is it treated, can someone do workouts related to fixing the vaginismus? Can workouts solve the problem without actually going to see a doctor,?

She was treated professionally by us. Working out does not cure vaginismus.
