Is not dorian sorry you hadn't enough courage to end with the dorian note chord D F A but you ended in a tonal way that is actually minor using A C E. And I think that is not a suspended cadence (I-V) and neither a Picard cadence Minor-Major converted in the Dorian style Dorian-Aeolian. A true dorian song starts melodically with the root note and ends with the same and the same is for the chord progression. When you will invent a song that has those features we will have a perfect dorian Song. This song is good but is incomplete as Dorian song

Thanks for your feedback, but I can assure you the improvisation is in the A dorian mode.
The notes of the A dorian mode are A B C D E F# G, during the improvisation there are chords outside of the mode however I always move back to the A dorian mode.
The 1st chord of the A dorian mode is A minor (ACE) which is how the piece starts and ends, if the piece was in the A aeolian mode there would be no F# which I continuously made a point of using throughout to emphasise the dorian mode.

@@maurovalentini2530​​⁠ That’s it! I completely understand where you are coming from as the D dorian is the most obvious choice but I wanted to mix it up by choosing the A dorian mode. 🤩🎶
